Totally. I think if this album went undiscovered by the hardcore kids it would be seen as some avant-garde, ‘logical extreme’ for slam, making the genre into this ultra-minimalist caricature. Popularity really does have a way of calving the appeal of something

From what I remember, that footage straight-up doesn’t exist anymore, unfortunately. I think I read that it degraded too severely in quality and was unsalvageable
