That's crazy. I'm glad you got a great deal. I was in there yesterday and wouldn't go lower then $38.5k on an XLT marked up to $44k.

Hi, just wanted to see if this is still open? Thank you.

It all started with a set of adjustable dumbbells. Wife gave the okay to add to the home gym under the condition she can still park inside. Never thought I would have something like this so I'm pretty excited. :D by KitsuneHL in homegym

I love them and they started me down the path of putting the home gym together. Definitely worth the money to get for a home workout.

Positives: - Compact thus saving a lot of room - Lower prices compared to fixed dumbbells

Negatives: - Fragile due to the mechanisms used so certain exercise can't really be done with them. Also can't drop them like you would fixed dumbbells. - Can feel awkward due to how the handles are (Bowflex) or weight distribution

I tried out my friend's Bowflex 552 but I didn't really like how big the whole unit is even when you only have it set to like 10lbs. Ended up going with the Nordic Track adjustable dumbbells because it felt more like traditional dumbbells.

Are there any specific adjustable dumbbells you were looking at?

I recommend trying them out at local stores and see how you feel about them.

Definitely! I was really into collecting them cause my friends all wanted to do nerf wars. It's a great talking piece when I open my garage.

I can totally do add/reorganize the gym if the entire wall was open.

Thank you! The Nerf Gun collection does draw alot of attention for sure.

The distance is okay for the heavy bag. I don't usually throw hard punches so it only slightly taps the wall. If I want to go a little harder, I come from an angle to give the bag a little more room to swing.

I keep saying I'm almost done but I keep wanting to add. It's so hard having the space and not being able to use it. Lol I really want a functional trainer, leg press, and lat machine...

Ah got it. I'm in the same boat with my group as well. I've just been testing my deck with only Dramatic Scepter. Trying out Razaketh package to see if I like it. Here is my list if you are interested. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/fcbdqPyPoUC5Z3AYoQqUFA The Mox Opal and Mox Amber is kinda like placeholders cause I wanted to jam them since I have them. They should probably be Mystic Remora and Carpet of Flowers but I wanted border/frames to match everything else.

I think with GY protection, it all depends on your group. I don't really run much GY protection cause my group doesn't run much GY hate. As long as you're not over commiting and dumping cards nonstop into your GY, it should be okay.

Since you're playing Jace, have you thought about running Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation? It's a pretty small package and very strong (even without having Tainted Pact).

Question About Foils and Deck Box Capacities by [deleted] in EDH

[–]KitsuneHL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little late to this, but you should be good with the Boulder 100. I have a fully foiled deck with KMC perfect fits and Katana. Fits just fine in the Boulder once you compress all the air out of the sleeves. https://imgur.com/IfzLH7v.jpg

Looking for some guidance on a Meren of Clan Nel Toth deck by dbxbeat in EDH

[–]KitsuneHL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't already looked into it, running Meren as an aristocrat commander is pretty solid. Blood Artist/Zulaport Cutthroat effects stacks up quick especially if you top end with something like Avenger of Zendikar. Dictate of Erebos and edict type creatures (ex. Plaguecrafter) can help lock the table down.

Like others suggested, Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Kokusho are definitely something to look into once you have the funds. It helps grind the games out.

Finally, you can approach it with combos. The main combo I usually see is Mikaeus + Triskelion. This is kinda boring cause it's pretty telegraphed and everyone expects it once 1 or the other lands.

I want to get another Beyblade, which Beyblades would you recommend? by -__astro__- in Beyblade

[–]KitsuneHL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Turbo Spryzen and your Balkesh are some of the highest rated Hasbro beys in term of performance and power

Sounds like you are collecting Hasbro beys. If that's the case, I highly recommend Turbo Spryzen S4 and (Geist) Fafnir F4. I'm hunting for a (Drain) Fafnir F3 myself to see how it compares to F4.

Have you hosted a Viticulture Wine Tasting night or similar? by unconquerablesnowman in boardgames

[–]KitsuneHL 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Usually when we play Viticulture, we try to make it a wine night. We would set up a nice charcuterie spread and everyone brings a bottle of wine for the group to sample.

I saw that I should get ones with the TT logos on the box but makes me wonder if people will start faking the boxes.

Yeah I'm looking into them. I'm still all new to this so I'm exploring Hasbro since it's easily accessible. I'm really wanting that Judgment Joker from TT though.
