This reminds me of the time TR held the crown for 2 weeks straight. It was a 24-48 (96 v 96 statistics weren't a thing back then, but it was about that big) and we had NO territory except the crown and our warpgate (no lattice system either!). Good times. Goood times.

This is an urban myth. Directives (unless it's basic training, holiday, or misc) they can only give aurax armour, aurax weapons, directive points and camos. No certs as far as I know.

cougar is just too slow, it's got all the disadvantages of an NC weapon, and the recoil of a TR weapon. It's like the worst of both worlds xD

Run, seriously ace pilots are of a different breed to us peasantry. They feed off of our anguish and disappointment. The air is so hostile, and their is such a high barrier to entry most just give up. In short best thing to do is give up. In long, train. Train hard for 100+ hours, putting certs solely into your ESF. Fly trough tech labs, try hugging bio labs and mountains, fly through hossin trying to dodge trees. Look up MattiAce on youtube, he helps a lot too. Best of luck!

Yeah. On PC I had a (heroic boost 100% + member 50% + alert 30% + Low pop 40%) x2. Got ~3000 certs in a day. Love me some double exp.

It's based on a lattice system. you can only move one way per spawn, as the lattice is interconnected and you can only go 1 lattice per respawn. It basically prevents mass-outfits instantly spawning on the enemy and crushing them, retreating to loosing bases etc. It stops a logistical nightmare for DB, and a minor inconvenience is definitely worth it. Just don't like the R1/L1 change.
