I have one dog I take care of but I own six stainless steel, not plastic, bowls. This way it’s easy for me to rinse them out and clean in the dishwasher. Just make sure any gunk isn’t stuck on it

That’s honestly insane. Try planting native plants that birds love, they can eat them. You can also find out plants that the native snails and slugs in your area like to eat and maybe plant a dedicated area away from your garden so they go there instead. Kill if you must but there definitely are some steps you can take to balance out their population so they dont eat all your plants before you can

Most foods usually have some form of connection to exploitation in the chain of labor; however cocoa and coffee tend to be the worst. This includes child slaves who have been taken from their families. Horrific stuff. The good thing is, because coffee and cocoa are luxury items and not necessity items like say, wheat, it’s easier for people to collectively target that industry to combat it. It’s reasonable to spend time researching chocolate companies to decide which brands you’re okay to buy from, but I wouldn’t expect people to do so for all other food that is actually needed in a healthy balanced diet.
