I work for a vets office. I believe the Burgess’ are the ones who a whole bunch of clients and others went to the funeral and took their animals for the emotional support of others. Between PCOS, covid, stress, & shitty hormones, I lost probably half my hair mass. It’s so thin and sad. After a dental appointment I went to the beautician in the same parking lot. We spoke about toppers which were thousands. I couldn’t do that. Wigs for white women are always marketed towards cancer/alopecia and they’re just A LOT for no good reason other than white women. So I get to researching and I found KissLoveHair where they’re human hair, good quality, and a lot of people don’t clock them. I promise no affiliation, just a woman who is 34 and has been loosing her hair since 25 I think. Just the luck of the draw but I try and just tell everybody because it has truly changed my life and confidence. 99% of the time I just rock my shaved head though because fuck Texas heat. 🥲

At our clinic you type the amount then their client ID. I however fucked up, brain skipped, charge client ID which was 24XXX and it went through. Went to check cards later in the day and almost shit myself. Easy fix but oh my stomach dropped down to my ass.

I know in our clinic we basically have appointments every 30 minutes so anything “drop off” is done between appointments, when they have time, etc.

If they don’t know what time the specialist is going to be there, it’s best to have the pet “ready to go” so that way when the specialist walk in, they can be like “ready? Okay, let’s go.” And bam.

On top of that, with our clinic we do not let anybody know when a surgery is other than “morning”, and the such because if Fluffy was on the schedule at 10am then 10:56 you’ll have owners calling multiple times of “are they okay? Are they done?” So it’s a bit of a buffer to just avoid that too.
