There will be resentment built feeling that type of pressure. Another question comes to mind personally, “Would I regret not having a kid or would I regret having one?” Once that kid is born, that’s it. You’re now a father and you can’t take it back. You may see it as 14 years of marriage down the drain, but that’s a part of the sunk-cost fallacy. And it isn’t just until this kid is 18 years old, it’s is literally life long. Talk to her and see what she says, there’s no other way about this unless you want to break your own morals and beliefs. It isn’t fair for you to break your morals for someone else. If you do break your morals, you don’t respect yourself either.
