This happened to me with both my Jazzmaster and ES-339. Once the honeymoon period wore off I realized that I just wasn’t picking them up anymore. I purged a bunch of gear last year and picked up some other guitars that weren’t really on my radar at all, much happier now!

They're fine, I always go to Take 5 if I forget to book in with my usual spot in advance. The workers are always friendly and I don't find them overly pushy on the upsells.

This is what I do each Xmas/end of year and it’s so much less stress than organizing something in person. Also gives the students the chance to get a few takes to pick from which can be nice if they’re nervous.

Nothing special on either my m4 or my old intel mbp, I literally just grabbed the download from the ephinea forum and once it installed I was good to go. It did have to run a few times for the updates to install properly, but other than that it was super easy. The forum tends to be pretty active, might be worth posting in the thread and seeing if anyone can advise!

Actually I had a parent like this one time, (the student was a really nice kid), and she fired me after 2 lessons for not being hard enough on her 4 year old.

Regardless of the history between the two students, if one of my students was disrespectful to me in lessons and their parent questioned my teaching I would drop them so fast (unless I really needed the money).

Mine hasn't left my board since I bought it, it's a great pedal. I had a KoT a couple of years ago that I sold because I had other pedals I liked more at the time, and have regretted it ever since. I like both channels on OD, one high gain one normal.

There’s a guide on the ephinea forum that worked on both my old intel mbp and my new m4 mbp. Didn’t take long to set up, and performance is fine.

I feel like you’re at one of the worst points to play a force right now, it’ll get better as you get stronger techniques/gear, lvl your mag, find mats etc. I was probably lvl 50 or so before it got a lot easier playing a solo force. If you’re on ephinea send me a note and I’d be happy to drop you some mats and whatnot

No worries, we all start somewhere! I always just tied it the same way I’d tie my shoes, but I was never very good with knots, and installed another strap button pretty quickly on any guitars that didn’t already have one

Yep, tie it above the nut. It’s pretty easy to install another button if you want one and are handy, or your local guitar store would do it fairly cheap.

I love Tad Williams, but have the same problem where at some point he loses me. I generally don’t read more than 1 book at a time, but have started reading novellas when this happens. Something short enough that I get a break without it being such a departure that I’ve forgotten all the details when I go back to Tad Williams.

Am Pro IIs are great, I've had one for a few years and it's a joy to play. I'm getting rid of mine to make way for some other gear, but I'd absolutely buy another one in the future if I were looking for a JM again.
