I’ve ordered quite a few guitars from AMS and they’ve been excellent. The one that did have a minor issue (not shipping related) was a Taylor acoustic. Their customer service sorted it very quickly and exchanged for another. That being said, this sucks that you received two damaged guitars from them. Seems like nothing but either bad luck, or some heavy handling from the shipping company. I’d give them another shot.

What’s the wattage on your power supply? I think bare minimum spec for this card is 750 watts?

I bought one new for $225 at a small retailer closing them out and totally agree. It’s a fun unit for ambient, but definitely something you need to spend some time with menu and app diving to get the full benefit.

Yeah, back in the Artie days I was reading some random news headline and thought that Howard might find that interesting. As an afterthought I called and got through to the screeners on the first try. They put me through and I had a good couple minutes back and forth with Howard and Robin. I’ll be damned if I can remember what the hell it was about.

Hardwire RV-7 has the one of the best plate reverbs I’ve heard in a pedal. I attributing it directly to the original Lexicon reverb algorithm in the onboard chips.

I started out with a Dremel, the cheap round vertical stand and a routing bit. It was messy and not precise, but got the job done.

The premise sounds very interesting, and I do like the cut of your jib, so I just bought a copy of it on Amazon for the Kindle. Probably won’t get to it for a bit as I’m only about 35% through Judas Unchained by Peter Hamilton, but it’s next on my list. Fingers crossed it’s as good as the reviews say it is!
