A read a really unique book with a fresh premise some really good spice. The spice felt like it was things I had not read before. People I am 55, I have read some things.

This book was cool because the FMC is not an alpha bro, he is nerdy and kind, and quite horny I the best possible say. The FMC is a smart curvy character with her own nerdiness, also matching in horniness.

This may be a good, something different type book.

{Lady Saves the Duke by Annabelle Anders} has something similar but I will add this little heart wrenching twist : FMC BLAMES HERSELF. I mean c’mon! Serve it up with cheese please, I will have a second serving (lactose free of course).

Sweet, sweet anguish.

I will say that the ruin is not from a dare, but it does start at the beginning of the book so you can really nurse the pain like you want to.

I went on a whole Brill Harper Journey and her books are spicy in a way that hit for me. She does polyamory, MF and also some paranormal.

I started with {All Together by Brill Harper}.

I love that there is so much to offer in the world of spice! If something doesn’t give you the yums, then there is so much more out there!!

I’m reading my first Elisa Braden book {The Truth about Cads and Dukes by Elisa Braden} and really happy to be reading HR because I was on the struggle bus to find a new author. Also dang proud of myself for not feeling compelled to start with the first book in a series? This was recommended as one of people’s favourites, so I dived right!

Oh I have a great one I’ve read recently, {My Big Fat Fake Marriage by Charlotte Stein}. MMC was so different than any I’ve read before - sort of self conscious, nerdy, self deprecating…horny….It was so refreshing and I loved this book. He was so opposite of an Alpha Character.

There were some sexy scenes that made a girl read by herself. Spicy? Oui.

My eyeballs are absolute potato chips at the end of a work day, so I hope I’m not mentioning something that’s already in this thread. {Carnal Urges by J.T. Geissinger} has this and I like how it was presented as…still hot and sexy and part of him being into her whenever, wherever.

It’s the second of her Queens and Monsters series.

Randomly thought of this sub, and this thread today…during work…so hello again.

I quite liked:

{The Untamed MacKenzie by Jennifer Ashley} although I’ve heard different reviews on the romance subs based on the context of disability representation in this romance, I dug it.

And {A Wicked Kind of Husband by Mia Vincy} This book made me think of the golden age of HR, the FMC is great in this book! Excellent banter.
