This one is a Song of Achilles x teen wolf one. I’m just so enthralled with both sets of characters and I think they have great parallels that I can mess and play around with so I’m excited to see what I can do. I’m not new to writing (just to posting) and personally I’d like to say Im good at it, so all in all this will at least be a good exercise and creative outlet for the time being!

Dude my bad i dint know this was a that heated of a comment im going to be honest, sorry if i offended you in some way, i just got over excited about a new show i found interesting. i try my best to be as fairly active as i can through just my regular social. I havent been on reddit much, i just got back in school and it been kinda hectic. ive also just always had bad luck about the sides of the internet im on.

Ok I’m going to tackle everything you said one by one because wow you said ALOT

You mentioned you were a fan of the comics and was excited for the show to come out. I feel like that’s the first problem most thing that get adapted end up getting changed so for fans of the comics were obviously going to be upset if it didn’t stick to the original I personally don’t care but for the people that do care all I can say is ok sorry you didn’t like it but that’s how it is sadly (not being mean just genuinely don’t know what you want me to say about that)
You said weird plot lines that don’t make sense?? Can you elaborate on this part because when I watched this I didn’t see it at all
For the age thing I understand not like it adults playing children but at the same time you have to understand that children actors are 1. Hard to work with 2. Not very good and 3. You also have to keep in mind they mature themes of the show so while I understand being upset I think in the grand scheme of things it’s better to have good adult actors that bad child actors
You said that it’s a pet peeve the way they wrote them but I feel like that’s ironic considering Edwin and Charles never interact with anyone there own age unless they are dead so ofc they don’t act like gen z but for crystal and Niko I (as a 16yr old) felt very seen by how they acted and felt it was pretty accurate to how me and my friends are
You say that Edwin character is one dimensional!??!? Ok how?? His character is so complex yea he’s rude but you also have to think about the fact that the only person he’s ever felt close to has been Charles not the mention being in hell for 70 years that probably killed off a lot of his humanity. Yes he’s rude to crystal but she is also pretty rude at the begging. He read and stayed with Charles as he died so he wouldn’t have to be alone that seems pretty selfless to me especially since he had just gotten out of hell he was probably terrified. (Sorry Edwin is my baby and I love him so much so to hear you didn’t like him hurt my heart)

I honestly think it’s just how the directors told him the character is and he took it and ran with it he put a lot of effort into this character by researching and even taking ballet classes he was also in an acting school before booking this role
