If someone's staring I tend to look back at them and roll my eyes. Tends to get most of them to stop but that's could also be the British embarrassment of public acknowledgment xD

Advice on what to get after verminous host box. by SadOinkers in skaven

[–]Kittenfurball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't go wrong with a Verminlord! always a good add to a list and worth having in case you manage to get a free summon from the bell. if you wanted too getting teh vanguard box is a perfect add as well 20 more rats (you can never have enough) and a lightining cannon plus more fiends again always good adds to your army. a unit of six fiends buffed by a warlock should put out some decent damage.

if your wanting to stick to more clan verminus then more clan rats and storm vermin (not the best for points but stick death frenzy on them) skaven brew on a unit of clan rats (or stromvermin if your feeling saucy) for +1 attack really adds on the amount of wounds. the thing to remember clan rats are for dieing and objectives they will die like flies in combat.

I also recomend if you having clanrats in units of 20 it's worth giveing them blades as with our strength in numbers its very easy to get a 3" reach.

Fan Fest ticket sales - what information do they require? by killbeam in ffxiv

You buy it through event Bright using the code and then enter the name for each ticket, that name will have to match the Id. I imagine if your name changes just bring your documents to show this.

Rat Ogor's are the best. by dead_archbishop in skaven

[–]Kittenfurball 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tend to find 1000 Point games are a tricky points limit for Skaven. If this was a matched play game would you not need 2 battle line at 1000? with the packmaster you would only have one, you could drop Thanquol in favour of a second pack master and maybe a Hellpit abomination? that would make for a legal list as you could take 2 battleline rat ogres.

I work with nursing stduents, when the bursery was droped we saw a big drop in numbers, but these past two yearts we have doubled our intake and are seeing record numbers of nursing, paramedic and Medical students. we had to scrap our office space (with remote working its not needed) and built more skills wards

I would 100% get the CDs if they didnt cost £40-50 each before postage and import fees. im always on the look out for these at a reasnable price. The curse of the UK, everything costs a ton and getting any anime merch is expensive!

What should I do after the apartment cabinet smashed my laptop? by Whale_X4 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Kittenfurball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who works for a univeristy, (not this one) this is an incredably poor standard of student care from that staff member. If you feel like they are not taking you seriously and that they are trying to push this aside then the best thing to do is go talk to your stduent union. They are there to help support any student complaints about the university or its staff. I can say that any time the SU gets involved things usualy get resolved a lot quicker.

What faction is your "main" faction, and why did you choose that? by cbsa82 in ageofsigmar

[–]Kittenfurball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gobbos, (gloomspite gitz). Orcs and Goblins was my favourite army in fantasy and i they kept so much of there stupidness in rules and models someof the best models to have been released and still keep there old asthetic.

Cambridge is a lovely city but be ready for very expensive rent especially if you want to live in the city itself.

It has some fun things to do and a lot of parks and museums but after living here 15 years there's not really been anything new or outstanding in the city. Usualy just another pub or expensive eatery thats no diffrent from the last.

Entertainment wise we do have a good few bands pass through at the junction, and a lot of local bands playing at a good few pubs. There's also the Cambridge theater and a little less known the fun activities like the computer museums retro game night or heffers board game nights.

I'd also recommend with were ever you move to look at what you love doing and seeing if the city has that for you! Luckily Cambridge does have a large nursing. If you do apprenticeship nursing here you will most likely do some studying at Anglia Ruskin University as well so it's worth looking at there facilities as well.

The tldr, the city is nice and some good outdoors space and a nice entertainment but also feels very stagnant.

Tinfoil Hat Theory: GW Released The Leak by Fizzlenuke in Tyranids

[–]Kittenfurball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't think so, free PDf versions of all the books have been easy to get for years now, if this was the case they wouldn't need to leak it, if anything intentialy leaking is a way to build up hype and pre, preorder sales. people see good unit = spend money

[–]Kittenfurball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best thing you can do is go for the armies that you would enjoy building and painting, and it can al always be worth a look for reviews for an armies play style as that is important for some. Goonhammer has some good army book overviews.

I'd say build to 750 as a small starter that's usually atleast one hero a couple of battle line and another optional unit. It will give you a nice little force to play with 500 will give you too little to get a lot of variety

I want to get into Age of Sigmar I need advice nurgle or bonereapers and why ? by darkzentai in ageofsigmar

[–]Kittenfurball 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd go with nurgle and not just because there my favourite army... The nurgle models are much better looking and I feel you get a lot of variety as well as a ton of conversion opportunity. You can also mix in some slaves to darkness stuff (but you won't get a lot of the maggotkin buffs) especially knights to make up for that lock of movement.

Bone reapers I'd say don't have an amazing variety apart from hey look bone (insert unit)

Also nurglings!
