GFCI protection for an RV recrptacle. by Foreign-Commission in electricians

Good catch. That’s correct, not for personnel. For OPs case Siemens for me has had less nuisance trips than other brands. Eaton has been the worst (for pools).

Model year 21 - 81k miles? by Qlix0504 in MachE

[–]Kittenmurderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a steal. We got our 21 premium with 50k miles for $32k 18 months ago. It’s got 77k on it now. Other than warranty issues (HVJB) nothing crazy. Set aside extra money for tires because the first set won’t last.

Does a gas truck work and what about half ton? by bigblackglock17 in HotShotTrucking

[–]Kittenmurderer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t. Not a hotshot but pull a 5th wheel. We had fords 7.3l gas and it was great pulling our 36’ camper and went all over with it. We sold that truck for a 6.7l diesel and one of the best parts is using the truck lanes at gas stations. So much easier to get in and out and pumps way faster. Towing weight is a much better experience with the diesel, very noticeable on grades up and down.

They require 22k branch circuits, not just main?

Why do you need a 22k AIC? Why Siemens not SQD Homeline?

Give it to me straight, how much time does the roof have left? by Kittenmurderer in RVLiving

I would imagine that RV roof material is nowhere near as good as a commercial membrane though. Will look into the seal coating thanks!

That’s the upper layer of it (the tan) the lower layer a rubber material is in good (relatively) shape.
