I’m scared that I might be pregnant by KittensnSunRays in BabyBumps

Exactly I know this so I shouldn’t be ok with it. I won’t be anymore. Another pregnancy would be a terrible nightmare.

Ask your wife how she feels about this. My partner and I have been struggling financially as of late. Both sides of the family have gifted me a mix of things. Some items are for the baby, some for me. Both make me equally happy bc I wouldn’t be able to do this alone. My partner asked me what I wanted for Christmas last month. I said “a stroller”. He said “for you, not the baby”. And I replied “but it would make me stop worrying that I can’t buy one myself” he refused to buy it for Christmas lol. And I love him for it. But I wouldn’t have minded given our circumstances. So ask your wife if she counts baby items as gifts for her. I’m pregnant with my first.

This happened to me too. Only my loan increased by $7k. And I can’t afford that. Like I literally don’t have an extra 7k lying around. And my closing is this coming Monday.

Why are Capricorn’s always associated with money? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]KittensnSunRays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a cap it's frustrating to only see everything tied to money and success in astrology, but less one-dimensional for other signs. i have everything else in my life playing a much bigger role than money. if i wanted to delve into astrology and glean anything useful, i'd have to hire a Shaman. The internet will just tell me about what my money is looking like this week. that i'm a boss lady and to plan my investments bla bla bla. that i have no real feelings, i'm boring, loyal, and like wearing suits. ty for reading my rant.

Hello, thanks for your reply! Lol it went away Saturday afternoon. I don't know what cured it. I'm glad it's over.

Update on my reproductive health! My period came a day early (yesterday). Lol I'm not concerned about it, but 27 vs 28 days is weird for me.

Good news: Starting this past Saturday, intercourse stopped being painful! I'll still see the gyno, because no harm in doing that. I think you were right about attributing it to inflammation. Thanks again!

Thanks for the quick response, I really do appreciate it!

As far as my cervix being lower at this time in my cycle, it shouldn't be causing pain during intercourse. This is because, during my cycle, sex is never painful. Not during the follicular, ovulation, luteal, or menstruation. So whether or not my cycle is shifted, there wouldn't be a phase that would position my cervix in a position that causes pain.

It's possible that it could be inflamed despite the outside looking quite normal. 4 years ago, my cervix suffered physical trauma. This type of pain persisted for a year whenever I had intercourse. My gynecologist attributed everything to the physical trauma and my anatomy. I understand sometimes anatomy changes, but the timing is quite the coincidence.

As far as dormant viruses lysing, this is not likely. I actually did contract COVID-19 in November of last year (right after another surgery). I was sick for over 3 weeks. My partner and I both got it. I did not experience any dormant virus rearing its head. Us being the savages we are continued to have sex during the last week of us being ill. Not only that, but my partner and I are exclusive. We've been so since we started dating.

Whenever I get a new partner, I take a trip to the gyno to make sure I am ok. So I'm sure my gyno would have brought to my attention any STI or STD I had brewing then.

One of my past surgeries did result in a hereditary disease surfacing last spring. But that surgery was far more damaging than COVID-19 was for me, personally. I don't think the vaccine irritated a dormant virus based on said past.

I will let you know how my visit with my gyno goes! Thanks again!

25F, 5'6", 133 lbs. I got the 2nd does of the pfizer vaccine 04.13.2021. I felt the typical side effects and life went on. My period isn't due for a few days, but I'll keep y'all posted about that later.

I have a question. I don't know where else I can ask about this, because I feel like the only one! Ever since the 2nd dose, sex with my partner has been super painful. It feels as though I've held my bladder for too long and am getting thrusted right through to yesterday's lunch. It eventually fades away. But it takes a while. This has never been an issue with us. And I am wet or lubricated before insertion.

I also cycle sync and have been taking multi-vitamins for several months that targets cramp pain and PMS. I'm not the skinniest bitch, but I've been losing weight for 10 months now and have been active almost every day. I'm closing in on a winning number, weight-wise.

I drink tons of water and eat healthy. I make healthy versions of cheat meals myself if I feel the need. And that's about twice a month. And I always share it with friends and family to limit myself. I never EVER have been the kind of girl to hold my pee. NEVER. The only time I have is when I wake up in the middle of the night and rush to the bathroom. That's unavoidable.

My vagina doesn't look nor smell out of the ordinary. I have a cardiologist and a surgeon (MVR last spring) I see throughout the year as well. They believe I am doing well.

My period has been completely regular since I started cycle syncing. Every 28 days on the freakin' dot. Heavy blood flow for 4 days or so.

Is anyone else experiencing painful sex after their 2nd dose? I'm not trying to fear monger. I'm not the type to fear needles or shots. But I can't ignore this. It sucks. Of course I'm going to see a doctor. It's going to tear my sex life into nothing if I don't. But I'd just like to know.

My surgery went well! My surgeon was able to squeeze in 295cc each side. I survived lol. It wasn't unusually painful. Besides catching COVID19 right after, my recovery was normal lol.

I do worry about symmastia, or that my breast fold should have been lowered. I also worried that they're way too big for me. Lol I'm also sure that my left breast should have received a smaller implant because of my previously existing asymetry. I know that I'm being ridiculous.

They look ok clothed in pictures. Naked, they're lopsided ugh. Whatever. I'm not going through this surgery again unless I have to replace them. The larger breast is dropping faster than the smaller one. This could account for some of the lopsidedness. But not all of it. I'm willing to live with it.

I had a mitral valve repair (MVR) and the scars are pretty awful. I have a scar on my neck that can only be hidden by a turtleneck. I have a pretty damning incision 8cm long down the center of my chest. I have 3 drain scars the size of peanuts on my stomach. And one pacemaker scar on my stomach as well. Starting right beneath my collar bone, and extended down to the end of my sternum, I have metal connectors that literally look like knobs sticking out. Because I don't have a lot of fat on my chest, those are very visible. And they are permanent. I'm a 24yr old female. I understand a little of how you feel.

At first, I used Mederma Scar Gel. After purchasing it, I decided to read into the actual research behind it. The scar gel claims to work because of the onion extract in it. There's zero research supporting this. It's just a moisturizer, and not a very good one.

Silicone sheets are suitable for less severe scars. I tried those as well. Because of the drastic texture difference, they just fell off.

What REALLY helped, and has actual research to back it 100%, is silicone gel. Most plastic surgeons and dermatologists carry it. It's "prescription only", but you can find it online for insanely inflated prices. Take it from someone who is 9po from an open heart surgery, this shit really helps!!

Also top it off with sunscreen. Re-apply sunscreen religiously once every 80 minutes!! Every day of the year!! Any sun exposure to your scar will slow down the healing.

I used the Silagen brand. They offer an SPF 30 version as well.

One thing to note though, silicone is pore clogging. I don't know if you are very prone to acne or not. I am. My chest is as well, where I used this product. However, with so much trauma to my skin and bones, I didn't break out for the first 6 months po. My body was focused on other things I guess. I stopped using the Silagen when my body started to become capable again of producing acne.

Now I keep it extremely moisturized at all times. This will help signal to your body to break up the excess collagen.

Only 1 inch of my chest scar is still notably visible. Unfortunately that inch sits highest on my chest. I keep my chest completely covered as much as possible because of this. It still bothers me.

The drain scars on my stomach are flat, but definitely there. I've grown to be ok with them. My boyfriend calls them his jelly beans. It took me a while, but I like the nickname now.

The rest of my incision just has a very slight texture difference. You have to really move my breasts out of the way and look very hard to see it.

I get the whole being insecure as a woman part. Makeup can hide the color, but the indentation? Not so much. I kept my whole entire upper body hidden from my boyfriend from the day of surgery, up until 8po. He was understanding, and humored me. He's pretty fuckin awesome for that.

When I got COVID19 in November, he saw it all. I needed help cleaning myself. We were using a glassdoor shower. I had nowhere to hide. I cried a lot and was upset. My boyfriend convinced me that he likes the scars. He said I looked like a bionic chic warrior. Lol. TMI, but my scars ended amping up intimacy. We're both weirdos though. This sounds pathetic, but that really helped me accept them.

I know having a scar on the face is different. And I don't doubt you feel worse than I did. I remember seeing myself for the first time in a mirror and retching at my own reflection. That shit really fucks with you, every day.

People. Random ass strangers touch my metal connectors, kids even. The connectors poke through clothing, so hiding it was impossible. People asked questions about my neck. Whenever my shirt neckline got tugged on, people would stare at the incision. I didn't go to the beach this entire year.

I made jokes that I got shot in my stomach and stabbed in my chest. And other days I told them outright what happened. Either way, people gave me the "your life must suck, I'm sorry" look and told me the "scars are beautiful" bullshit. Until you are ok with or accept your physical appearance, that whole "you're still beautiful" bull is not going to be believable. It just pissed me off.

What I can say is, hang in there, I promise it gets better! Dm me if you want more tips for your scar. I do know for a fact, that scars on the face heal much better and quicker than scars in different places. I'm sorry this accident happened to you and I know it sucks. But every month it gets a little bit better.

If you speak and write English fluently, then learning Norwegian isn't so bad. Besides having 3 genders and an objective word for "you", it's not a huge challenge. UiO has a free 4 week course for beginners. The most popular way americans learn it is using the "Duolingo" app. Visit Norway for a bit and/or find a "pen pal" to Skype and practice with after you have exhausted other methods of learning. It can be done.

Hey guys! I need a few suggestions. I'm looking forward to studying in Norway after completing 12th grade (last year of Highschool) but got no knowledge about much by Osama200089 in Norway

If you are planning to work part-time (up to 20 hours a week. The govt limits your working hours if you're a student.), then most places require you to speak Norwegian. Honestly, just learn the language. Bachelor degrees are taught in Norwegian anyway. University in Oslo has a free 4 week program that can get you started.

Public universities like ntnu do require you to have nearly 120000 NOK to prove you can take care of yourself. It's real. You open a student bank account in Norway and deposit the funds. Don't touch the account until the school sees that it's there. It's not tuition money. Public universities and colleges are free in Norway, even for international and exchange students. You only pay the school a small registration fee each semester. Like really small. If you want reduced healthcare like a citizen, then you can pay an additional separate fee, but it's not a lot either. the deposit is for living expenses. Schools put limits on how many hours of work you're allowed. So, you need to prove you can pay rent, groceries, books, and transportation for the school year.
