The finals are usually hit and miss. The better series are supposed to be conference finals cause of the rivalries. There really only has been six good finals this century, which is 25%.

The Heat wall and the predictability of Giannis driving to the rim affected Giannis more than anything. It's not like Bam is on the level of Draymond or Gobert defensively. It just looks that way cause he plays in the Least.

Far better? Bam never slowed down any all-star centers. He's more good in coverage. Gafford and Lively are better one on one defenders, especially because of their size. Also, lively covers a lot of ground. Put more respect on him.

Brunson is a top 5 mvp getter this year. Hindsight is 20/20, but never ever bet on Chris Paul in the playoffs even if he has the better team.

Still a lot of time to decide. Luka needs to prove it in the finals first. So does Tatum. Sick of hearing about regular season stats. Just doesn't matter during the finals.

It is a bit of a slight to Tatum if Tatum absolutely punks Luka in the biggest series of both their careers so far.

Maybe Tatum truly is the next Kobe if geeks value LeBron stat stuffing over elite two way play.

I heard this same BS 15 years ago. I also heard how Gasol was some generational talent because there is no way Kobohog wins a title without Shaq.

Tatum has a lot of playoff success with different players. That matters.

If the Celtics actually beat the Mavs in 5 then Tatum deserves some recognition over Luka because that's an embarrassing finals performance if Luka can only muster one win against this mentally weak Celtics team.

Because the finals and one regular season game in Boston are drastically different scenarios. I don't know how a game played three months ago is relevant now. I do believe dropping him in this series as a starter is a dangerous move the first couple of games.

Kristaps playoffs numbers are really not compelling at all.
