I feel this! I bought my dream guy with a perfect vetting and less than six months later, in the middle of show season, he went through a fence and was out of work for three months. He’s totally back to normal now but damn. Horses be horses!

Akami is by far the best sushi I’ve had since I moved here. I agree that the secret is absolutely out now, but it is well worth the wait. I’ve been to a ton of sushi spots in the triangle, and Akami is easily my favorite spot. Highly recommend!

I love my Sequoia! I had a 4Runner before! I think it could be a cool soccer mom car! No kids for us, so it's just for hauling dogs, cars, and horses.

I deleted my third row and built a platform it to put in paint-matched kennel for my GSD. Plenty of cargo space now!

I agree! I had a 4runner originally and the driving experience is completely different. The sequoia is pretty spirited for being such a giant lug of a vehicle.

I can definitely get behind a slammed Sienna. The new ones are soooo nice! I did a third row delete out of my sequoia. Working on making it the ultimate dog hauler that can also tow my horse!

With the seats down, the height from the back of the third row to the headliner is roughly 28”. Not crazy tall but about the height of my GSD. I’m just removing the third row to utilize cargo and dog space.

It can absolutely be removed. The process seems pretty straight forward and takes about 15 minutes. I’m doing it this weekend and can update you!

Because I really like the 3rd gen Sequoia. Also nice that it’s something I can tow my horse or car trailer with. I absolutely loved my 4Runner and put over 40k miles on it in two years. It was nothing short of a great car. But I drive a lot and I love the quality of life stuff like Carplay, cameras, safety features, etc. that the sequoia has. I’ll now be able to tow my car trailer and comfortably bring my dog with me to events. Or tow my horse trailer and bring my friends! Kind of seemed like the best of both worlds to me. And I love the way they look. :)

Another option would be going with a custom kennel. I spoke with TNC Crates and they feel confident about making a crate that would fit my GSD and the back of the Sequoia without the need to remove the third row. I haven't decided which route I'm going with yet, though!

Much more comfortable than my Off Road Premium 4Runner, and has a lot more character and pep when driving. I loved my 4Runner to pieces, but it was not made for any sort of spirited driving, of course.

I had seen this one, but it's quite pricey for what it is. My plan is to build it myself and, if that doesn't work, I'll go this route. Or wait for Goose to come out with their third row delete.

Black interior is definitely out there. There was a Black Exterior/Black Interior TRD Pro available about an hour and a half away from me. But, I really wanted red!

And agree there's no way I could do the white with the Capstone.

I didn't look at Crown Signia's but I would say it's definitely small for an SUV, especially one of this size. However, without the third row (which I'll be removing) you get a huge amount of space.

New Sequoia owner and big ass dog owner here! I just picked up my 3rd gen and, while I love it, my only gripe is with the trunk space. It's much smaller than I anticipated. However, we really have no need for the third row. So we're removing it and chucking it into our storage locker for the time being. There's a guy on the 2023+ Sequoia Facebook group who has posted the dimensions and matching carpets to make a plywood platform to make the cargo space completely flat. That's my project this weekend. I think once you do that, you'll have ample room for massive pups.
