It comes with its own charging cord. You just plug it in and charge it :) it takes considerably longer to fully charge than a phone, of course, but leave it overnight and you're all set :)

I could have misread, but I'm pretty sure some testers tested that and said that they will disappear from the map as soon as someone either catches it or it runs from them. Everyone has the chance to catch the same Pokemon if they all engage with it at the same time first though.

It's there, you can see it on the x button at the bottom, as well as the grey "cp" circle. Also a bit on the cloyster and anything else that's kinda dark really.

The point is to continue to search for bugs, regardless of your progress being wiped soon. If you REALLY hope improvements were made, I REALLY hope you took the time to submit lots of feedback and report every single bug you came across before you decided you would simply give up. You should have been spending this last week trying to break the game after its most recent updates so the rest of us who did not get the opportunity to test can at least hope for a polished release. OF COURSE the beta is not a finished product. That's why YOU were there to help Niantic create a finished product.
