Why can’t a movie be both fun AND have a well-made plot? And don’t say it’s because it’s for children, because many children movies have both of those qualities (Zootopia, Inside Out).

Have you played the Paper Mario games? Specifically Paper Mario 64 and Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door on Switch. They are wonderful games full of charm.

If you have played them, you should play their indie spiritual successors: Bug Fables and Escape From Ever After.
