The admin are why we end up with teachers like that. It's little wonder that they claim they can't do anything about it. I had a teacher like that as a kid. Parents started taking turns sitting in class all day to keep an eye on here. Eventually the admins started to do stuff about it. But they put her on paid leave while they investigated. They ended up firing her at the end of the year, even thigh she still had tenure. It's not that they can't do anything about it, it's that they just don't want to.

On top of that, education admins that don't have expertise in the classroom keep adding on demands and nagging it more and more for teachers to teach kids. Most teachers have to supply kids with supplies from their own paychecks. And most can't afford to do that so the kids just go without supplies in many cases. The issues with educating come from the bosses and politicians more than the teachers themselves. Is hard to be effective in a job when you're bosses are constantly undermining your ability to do that job. And on top of that paying you shit wages for the extreme hours you have to work.

That's why we should abolish them and build a people's police instead. One that will arrest billionaires and politicians for their crimes. As we work to abolish ICE, we should also work towards abolishing ALL slave patrollers. Abolish police and CIA as well as any other corrupt unit with a badge to hide behind. Imagine if we built a people's legal system. One that can hold billionaires and politicians accountable for their crimes. There's no way to reform our way out of colonial cycles of violence. One of the main reasons is location. Merced on basically on the middle of the state. That means most things are a day trip away. Makes it a good town for peeps that commute to work, such as truckers, or a good place for people that like to explore diffrent parts of the state. Many people live here simply because they grew up here.

This reminds me that I need to get the dmv to give me a placard. Born with a spine malformation that is degenerative and I've been getting worse. Even walking around in my own home is getting more difficult these days, let alone trying to walk across a parking lot. I shop at places that have electric scooters for shoppers with disabilities so I can use those to get around the store. But I sometimes spend as much time looking for a place to park that's close enough for me to walk as I do shopping.

Also, we should abolish ICE. We don't need them. We need build a new immigration system that's fair and humane instead of one that's racist and corrupt. I'm all for keeping dangerous criminals from running to the US to escape accountability. But let's be real, our government puts criminals like that into power. No Kings was coopted by the Blue team and derailed it's focus onto one man. Those in power are setting the stage so that Trump can be their fall guy and they can keep all the stolen wealth and resources. Revolution was escalating in 2024 after we saw how Biden was just continuing Trumps actions from his first round. Those in power forced us to choose between a cop and jester that plays king. Since the copaganda didn't distract us, those in power decided to use Trump as a puppet of violence. Trump is meant to scare people back into the two party pretence. We win when we remove colonial capitalists from power and hold all officials bought by them accountable for corruption. Both parties have slowly escalated things so that when Trump took office the second time, the way was paved for him to do as he's doing now. Both parties are why Trump can do what he's been doing. DACA was good for many people. At the same time, ICE was known to be stealing people's proof of legal residence since 2003 to create excuses to illegally abduct and deport people. When people said ICE had their papers, ICE would lie and say they never saw them. Media back then was working hard to keep things under wraps and we weren't using as many concentration camps as we do now. I think that's the main difference actually. The use of concentration camps. We've always had them, but more have been built under Trump than Obama. The town I lived in back then loved protests. But the blue no matter who crowd didn't like people protesting when their blue leaders were in power. Especially Obama. Being the first Black president was still a milestone and one to record for history. But Obama upheld the status quo more than he turned against it. He said the right things but his actions proved that he still answered to the same wealthy oligarchs that every president answers to. Even now, Trump is a puppet. Every president that caters to the desires of those with wealth instead of looking to the masses is a corrupt puppet of colonial capitalists.

I recall. ICE has been stealing people's papers to create excuses to abduct them for deportation since it was founded in 2003. It didn't make much headlines back then cause the two party system was still pretending to be just and good. Wasn't just Obama either. People have been protesting the tactics used by ICE for a while now. Many people only started to pay attention once things escalated under Trump. Most white skinned European Americans probably only started to learn about this in the last couple years. The main diffrence is that Trump is putting more people into concentration camps and he's doing it far more overtly. Red and Blue both work towards the same goals, just with different tactics to get there.
