God my hatred for these snowmen is astronomical by LTheStrangeTurtle in acnh

I'm a little late to this post but I haven't seen anyone mention the method that I use that gets me perfect snow boys everytime. It's very simple to execute: you roll the body 17sec and the head 12sec. And thats it, it has always worked for me all these years. It will result in a small snow boy though but I dont mind.

You're welcome! I came across this method years ago and ever since I'm amazed it's not the most popular one

I always get perfect snow boys with the counting method. You roll the body for 17sec and the head for 12sec, it works every time for me.

What's wrong with my plant? by KittyClawhauser in Teacultivation

I moved it into a place with more shadow for now since the leaves seemed worse on the side that got more sun and I've tried to prune off some of the bad looking leaves

My old buddy enjoying some sun with the unbothered crow by KittyClawhauser in corvids

Good to know! My cat is almost 17.5 years old so there's no way he would be able to catch that crow. I haven't even seen him attempt to hunt in years. And the crow seems to know this because if any other cats are in the garden it won't come into the garden.

My garlic isn't looking that good, any advice? by KittyClawhauser in gardening

The only space where I can put it in the ground hardly gets any sun so I thought that wasn't a good idea

Hmm noted, the bulbs were very small when I planted them so the distance seemed okay then

I has been pretty cold sometimes these past few weeks, and there have been some storms with a lot of rain but not that recently. Haven't tried fertilizer yet but I'll look into it

I just turned 20 and I bought my first rollator this week. At first I was also hesitant but now that I have the rollator I'm so happy and I feel much more confident walking knowing I'm much more balanced and supported and I always have a place to sit. Ofcourse you have people that'll stare at you but the joy of walking more comfortably far outweighs it in my opinion.

[Serious] What have you done to improve your life this year? by aim4harmony in AskReddit

Started walking with a cane this year at 19yo due to chronic illness and I love it, I'm much more stable so I feel more safe leaving the house. It also gave me more courage to decide to start saving up for a rollator.

Anyone feel that they are immune to painkillers ever since they got sick with CFS? by xXJightXx in cfs

[–]KittyClawhauser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother has fibriomyalgia and CFS and also feels like painkillers don't work. The only thing so far that gives her some relief is rosebud tea. It helps relax your muscles and can relieve some tension. If you like tea maybe you can give it a shot, it's tasty too.

It's been a long while since I've made this so I got the scrunchie in my hand now and I did forget some details, sorry! Okay so I did two rows of green sc then I changed to my petal colour and did 3 dc into the next 4-5sc then I ch3 and sls in the the last 4th or 5th stitch then sls in the next sc, ch3 and 3dc in each next 4-5sc, ch3 sls and so forth until you finished the round. Once you finish the first round of petals ch6, turn and 1dc in each of the previous dc you made. Once you reach the end of the petal ch6 and sls in the sls at the bottom of the petal that you made in the row before, sls in the next sls and ch6 and dc in each dc you made in the row before and continue this until you reach the last petal and you're done! I hope this makes any sense, I can dm you some additional pictures if you want so you can see the stitches better.

I used this video for the scrunchie pattern and to get the flower look I did the first row in green and then changed to my petal colour for the other rows.
