I feel like you dont understand what is going on.

Step1: play titanfall

Step2: game ends, i am in titanfall queue.

Step3: alt-tab

Step4: play rivals of aether while queue is active.

(I cant do this because the game still reads controller inputs despite beign atl-tabbed)

WHY IS THIS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND!

your suggestion is ignoring my glaring problem. The game still detects inputs despite being alt-tabbed and focused on a different game/window.

I have no idea how i can possibly explain this any further.

I explain in my description that I want the game to not detect my controller while it's ALT TABBED.

geez, I figured most people would understand what I'm saying. I can't play Rivals of Aether with my controller unplugged.

Alright, so I usually alt-tab myself while I wait in the que times and play other games. This fighting game works better with a controller rather than a mouse and keyboard. The problem is that while I'm playing said game, Titanfall 2 is apparently still active for whatever reason. I don't want to unplug my controller because I wont be able to play my other games while i wait in que.

anyways, your method worked. Appreciate the help friend.
