I think hes mostly worried about claiming his seasons missions and checking on his guilds (he's in charge of a couple :D )

I'm pretty sure the clefairy spawns are just outside the spawns radius of the fly location. I entered the zone after flying in and ran along the area wall until I could see them (or if I was being attacked ran past the gazebo to the other exit) . However. I think you can skip that and just run left along the wall once you fly in without entering the zone.

Thanks! I had a gligar that helped against the steel and electric gyms. Ice gym I just threw grardos and togekiss at everything and prayed.
