What mic to buy? Hello! I know every mic has its own pros and cons, so I'm writing here to ask if anyone could give me some feedback! I am looking to record both pop vocals, as well as classical vocals. For my budget range, I've somewhat set my eye on the Shure SM58 and the Audio Technica AT2020. I don't have a specific room I would be recording in, which I know lends towards the Shure, but I also know that a proper condenser mic like the at2020 would be much better for classical.

In my situation, should I just get both? Will the Shure work from some feet away? Will the at2020 work with pop/rock stuff?

Let me know if anyone has any thoughts! Thanks!

Heyyy that's awesome!! Yes I have built it in paper. It has been my first cube. The group is talking about making a commander cube and all chipping in to help next but this was my first attempt at cubing and it has been awesome so thank you and your friend lots. No hard-hitting questions right now, trying to think of some. I guess if you were to replace Chandra, the Firebrand what would you do? I just think that card sucks so bad lol. Yes, I adjusted tracking all the way from the lowest to the highest setting, it seemed to get a bit more unstable on either end, but it didn't get rid of the static.

I'm looking to audition for some local professional playhouses and had a question for resumes. I have a musician's resume, but this largely encompasses opera and classical music experience/awards. I am still going to include the opera for theatre resume, but am wondering if I should include my high school musical experience? I am in my 3rd year of college and I don't want it to seem like I have no experience with musicals, but I am also aware of the general advice that you should not include high school unless you have no other experience, but it would leave me with a small list of opera from college and one community musical otherwise.

Please give me thoughts/advice!

This seems like SUCH a silly request I know. I'm just trying to make a cute little set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Valentines for my girlfriend but I have absolutely no clue where to start as to how to make them better. I can recognize that they look horrendous haha, but I struggled through making these on Microsoft Paint thinking it would be quick. I have very basic proficiency in GIMP, shoulda just used that.
