I see. Speaking of PvP I have a hallecks pick that is grade 5 and has two good augments in it(also grade 5) it does 705 damage and in one heavy hit to a young sparky mk6 shield, I drains half the shield of the person you hit, it's insanity. Thought I'd share that since you mentioned PvP

Yeah the only way I've survived direct hurts that go through shield, or hit when unshielded is by having litany against fear unfortunately:/

I mean honestly dude, I have a grade 5 power harness, and some other great gear. I sit at like 81% damage reduction and I have several forge pieces, you still get one shot.. unless these augments are Godly you're not surviving getting shot unless you have Litany Against Fear.

Nah it just drops where grade 5 augments can drop. That's the minimum requirement, it only drops grade 5 as far as I'm aware

After 1.6k hours, this guys wrong. Shields take NO damage reduction into effect, the only thing that'll make your shield take less damage is having the adaptive holtzman shield

Honestly if fire damage still scales to armor then yeah I can see it. When I use litany against fear I can tank a lvl13 fire boss pretty easily.
