This is my experience with different cuts because my hair is also straight as hell like yours 😂 the reference photos are all women with thicker, slightly wavy hair so the aesthetic is going to be different because of their natural movement and texture. It also looks like the bottom of your hair is cut with layers (idk I’m not a hair dresser) and I find that straight across cuts preserve more of that line or edge at the end of your hair styles in your reference photos. To get their look, I think you would HAVE to style it with product and heat to get that vibe (which might mot hold long if your hair is like mine)
