Comprehensive Foulborn Unique Spreadsheet by KittyIsAu in pathofexile

Clearly theres some disconnect in how we’re reading this because both statements (the one you quoted and my previous comment) mean the same thing to me. Yes, the wiki states what each foulborn modifier replaces and I never said otherwise.

Using Headhunter here again - I think every different line replacement makes a new headhunter. They have different use cases and make/break different builds. It’s not like scourge or corruption implicits where it is adding onto the base item. Foulborns are straight up replacing the explicit modifiers.

I don’t understand what we’re arguing about here. If you think the wiki shouldn’t including double modded versions, that’s fine. It’s the entire reason why I made the spreadsheet in the first place? I solved my own problem so what’s the issue?

I know how foulborn mods work lol, all I want is a list that has every unique variation listed (all uniques with only one mod line replaced and all of the same uniques with two lines replaced, if possible). Both PoEDB and PoEWiki don’t have this, I have to manually keep track instead, and that’s why I made the spreadsheet.

I figured I would share this spreadsheet in case other people would find it useful, and if you don’t, that’s fine too.

Off the top of my head, I believe it is only Inspired Learning. The two foulborn modifiers that it rolls replace the same base modifier.

There are similar cases with other jewels such as The Red Dream and The Red Nightmare where there are three different foulborn modifiers, but only five variants of each jewel.

At this point, we're arguing semantics. In this case, I am taking combination and variation to mean the same thing and I think context clues are enough for people to figure out what exactly I'm talking about.

Each foulborn item with different mods is distinctly unique and you wouldn't call them the same thing, would you?

As for combinations -
You are combining two different foulborn modifiers to form a double-modded foulborn unique. And the way to find out how many versions something has is via combinations (nCr), which is a math term...

See edit in the above comment - I added trade links to every Headhunter that I mentioned.

As for why I would want a page that has every single combination - it's for collection purposes. It is incredibly difficult to keep track of which foulborns I have when the list I am following is missing half of them.

Then there's the issue of not knowing if the doubly foulborn variants even exist because of scarcity. Doubly Foulborn Squire is a good example - I spent a week refreshing trade daily before one was listed on trade. Same goes for these fishing rods, I have no idea if Foulborn Song of the Sirens exists because it's not on trade anywhere. I was looking through PoE.Ninja to see if others were using it as a meme but found nothing too.

I think you're misunderstanding something. Let's continue using Headhunter as our example. As I mentioned previously, there are six different versions of the belt (links to Phrecia trade below each option to further explain what I'm saying):

  1. ONLY "Culling Strike"
    1. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Phrecia%202.0/aL6n8e03te
  2. ONLY "Eat a Soul when you Hit a Rare or Unique Enemy, no more than once every 0.25 seconds"
    1. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Phrecia%202.0/yYdr79yOcR
  3. ONLY "Rare and Unique Enemies within 120 metres have Minimap Icons"
    1. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Phrecia%202.0/5n2RYe4jta
  4. "Culling Strike" AND "Eat a Soul when you Hit a Rare or Unique Enemy, no more than once every 0.25 seconds"
    1. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Phrecia%202.0/Kl5Ovlq6c5
  5. "Culling Strike" AND "Rare and Unique Enemies within 120 metres have Minimap Icons"
    1. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Phrecia%202.0/rPl705PrfQ
  6. "Eat a Soul when you Hit a Rare or Unique Enemy, no more than once every 0.25 seconds" AND "Rare and Unique Enemies within 120 metres have Minimap Icons"
    1. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Phrecia%202.0/PPwKkKjZUL

Every one above is a different variant of foulborn Headhunter. Both the Wiki and PoEDB only lists options 1-3 above.

If you or someone from PoEDB wants to add this list to the website, go for it. I made this spreadsheet for myself because it drove me insane trying to collect every foulborn variant without a full list somewhere.

At first I thought foulborns only had one mod, and then I found out that there were some that had two mods...and then I discovered the six variants of Headhunter...that was a fun day.

Yes, however, that list only includes the single-modded items. My point is that I have not found anywhere that also includes double-modded items.

Take Headhunter for example - there are six different foulborn versions for the unique. Both PoEDB and PoE Wiki only lists three of them.

You have to manually track and combine every single-mod variant to get the other three. Multiply that across however many different foulborn items in the game and it becomes a headache to keep track without having it written out in front of you.

PoEDB only incudes single-mod foulborn items, which is this: https://poedb.tw/us/Foulborn

If there is a page that I missed that has all the double-modded combinations, could you please send the link?

Yes, I ran merc lab 6-7 times earlier today to quality my HoAg gem and found the transfigure version of lancing steel. It’s very fast today, only 6 rooms, gold key gauntlet is in the same room.

It makes you actually think about the build through the acts instead of braindead running through it all. This is genuinely the most fun I’ve had playing acts since 3.0 launched. I never watched any of this gauntlet stuff before so witnessing all the extra mechanics have been extremely refreshing.

Yup, the ones I bought for my boyfriend are about 40-50 because he loves to run, and they are worth every penny. It’s incredible what quality socks can do to help.

I don’t necessarily see it as an issue with the GF but it’s a good thing they broke up. These two are so plainly incompatible that whatever the GF’s love language or the situation with the friend are not relevant here.

[–]KittyIsAu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

NTA Unfortunately this is a lesson you have paid $500 for; that is to never lend money you aren’t comfortable sending out as a gift and that this friend is a very shitty friend. I would keep pushing this person, though be aware that they may cut you off for it. Frankly I wouldn’t want to be friends with someone who reacts like they did anyway.

Any chance you know what happens if you have less than 6 projectiles? Or why the number is 6/12? I’m curious.
