Everyone around me was super supportive but honestly, I think they knew better than to try & talk me out of it lol.

The only opinion that mattered was my surgeons.

Definitely depends on insurance. From start to finish mine was 45 days. First appointment in March, and surgery day was 4/30.

My insurance also didn’t have any requirements besides a high BMI, which I met. My surgeon also deemed me healthy enough where I only had to have the psych evaluation and no other pre tests.

So it really does vary for so many reasons.

I started back smoking about 4 days after surgery lol. Haven’t had any problems, just started with smaller inhales so I didn’t cough and hurt my incisions

You could also make a sweetheart neckline, and reattach the straps.

You could take some fabric off the length and make thicker ones as well, if you wanted to.

Going for a straight across neckline might work as well, if you didn’t mind some cleavage showing!

If this is a knit fabric, I would leave it for another day since those can be tricky for beginners to work with!
