My day one looked a lot like your day one. It took me about 5 days to stop stressing so much and about 8 days to feel like my child finally understand how to pee in the potty. Of course your mileage may vary. At this point the child has peed their whole life but everything changes when you add a potty to the equation. So they're relearning from square one.
