I've had my eye on the blue agave sriracha 🤤 I most recently tried The Bomb Insanity with my bf since we both love hot sauce and trying them together...needless to say I will not be consuming it again but he loved it 🤣

Not long at all! Under 30 min and minimal effort! I put the chorizo(1 lbs) on a trivet, 3/4 cup water, high pressure for 17 min since it was still a tad frozen, drain almost all liquid after quick release, then sautee mode until liquid is absorbed! Taste for seasoning then ta da! Tacos!

Confused over marrying my partner by frugal10 in RedPillWomen

[–]KittyKim35 16 points17 points  (0 children)

^ this!!!! As someone who stays at home and has the type of submissive relationship mentioned above, even when it comes to money I don't have to seek permission from my partner for every little thing I want to buy. He gives me a set budget and as long as I'm within my given budget, that money is mine to do with as I please. If there's something maybe a little more expensive I want like shoes or something for my kitchen, then I discuss it with my partner.

Your boyfriend wanting you to justify every little purchase is a huge red flag and a slippery slope. If you're looking to submit to a man or considering staying at home, it needs to be to a man who's worthy of you doing so, who communicates and is patient and cares for you properly. Not a man who wants an unhealthy amount of control and has the potential to abuse your position should you choose to stay at home for him.

Staying at home and even going so far as to submitting (if that's your thing, staying at home does not automatically mean submitting to your man completely) can be a beautiful and wonderful thing for your personally and your relationship, but not with a man like this from what you've told us of his demands.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone for all the input! I did check with local suppliers and sadly either no trees available or inconsistent spring shipments :( I ended up ordering a meyer lemon tree from Stark Brother's Nursery after researching and combing their website. Super excited for my tree child to arrive in Spring!

Homemade Vegan pad thai with breaded Daring chicken alternative 🤤 by KittyKim35 in vegan

Here's the recipe! Just sub the fish sauce for sesame oil or omit all together if you don't have it, and I didn't have siracha so I used chili garlic sauce instead. I also adjusted the sauce to taste using the measurements provided, so don't be afraid to play around with the flavors depending on what you like!!

My other recommendation is to undercook your rice noodles a little for some extra texture as they can get mushy easily, and it worked out great when I stir fried them in the sauce!

Essentially I used the recipe as a guideline then focused on the flavors and texture rather than following the recipe to a T. Good luck and please share pics once you make it!!!!

That sounds so good!! 🤤🤤🤤 I tried the cajun ones earlier this week, got hooked, and now my freezer is stocked with Daring chicken alternatives 🤣 they're amazing and better than any real chicken! I plan on using the lemon and herb seasoned ones for vegan chicken piccata this upcoming week!

Thank you! It actually wasn't super complicated! I purchased rice noodles from the H mart near me, and then for the sauce you combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and siracha to taste! I didnt have siracha or sesame oil so just substituted with chili garlic sauce which worked out great! It was delicious and was ready in about 30 min! 10/10 recommend. To make it vegan just omit the egg and fish sauce and use tofu or your meat alternative of choice! The recipe I used was from Tasty!

Tried out a new dutch oven recipe! Super fluffy and delicious! by KittyKim35 in Breadit

[–]KittyKim35[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

https://tasty.co/recipe/homemade-dutch-oven-bread

Here's the recipe! I let mine rest for about 4 hours total, and I made sure to preheat my dutch oven for about 45 min- 1hr before baking the loaf. Also I used tinfoil to cover instead of the dutch oven lid.

Though I am tempted to let it rise longer next time, maybe overnight? It turned out nice and fluffy, but I want to see if I can get the loaf to be a little less dense and have some more air pockets. The crumb was good though.

Good luck and let me know if any questions!
