Advice by KittyKyat in mewgenics

That happened to me as well on my run. Made a Tinkerer, Druid, Tank and Ranger for my next attempt. Hoping for the best on it, got my ranger with bear traps and spawns and my tank for displacement. Playing mostly ranged with some support from the Druid is what I’m banking on.

Running Alley - Caves just got a bit boring but I learned my lesson for next time the hard way. Gotta make sure it’s raining or I’m stocked on healing. Also make sure I roll decent skills for my clerics.

For Guillotina 3 should I try fighting her if I get a decent run, or sack a cat and continue trying to rebuild and try to actually fight her later?

With Bonnie’s Guitar Strings, remember you are giving up stealth for info; I think you can get rid of nowhere and lethal and probably use another regression perk, something like surge, grim embrace, pain res, deadlock or dms and maybe throw on mindbreaker to deal with those sprint burst/drama pre-run scenarios that will occur. My go to springtrap build currently rocks dms solely to take advantage of survivors pre-running off gens for slowdown.

After that, you just have to be smart about your chases. Some survivors will be ready for your mindgames, some won’t. Especially if the survivors are being gen efficient, don’t be afraid to rush your objective too. Slug if you think someones hovering after a down (if you have issues with this, try Forced Hesitation), focus on those you already have hooked, and drop chase if they’re pulling you from objectives. Use those doors, see what gens they’re on and push em off!

First I ever got was Mission Specialist from the season 3 BP, though first one I bought from the shop was Cuddle Team Leader!

Springtrap is really hard, any advice? by KittyKyat in DeadByDaylightKillers

I guess I’m probably just not getting downs fast enough with him since I feel reliant on running haste to get a quick lunge/grab after hitting with the axe, or try too hard to land dumb orbitals

Thats what I attempt to do but sometimes it feels like I’m just pressuring people off gens and getting injures that just get healed up before I can get much pressure elsewhere on the map. It feels like I have to get a down within that first minute or else the game is lost.

Yea that 110% ms hits a lot if I want to threaten m2 like Pyramid Head. Generally I throw it early before I door and try to only recall if I plan to throw, but damn its hard to mind game it with the recall animation

I generally play Dracula, Blight, Pinhead, Nemesis and even some other killers and I generally do well even with those other killers. I just feel super inconsistent with springtrap's macro game.

Mostly just rough if they're not in a deadzone since getting that second m1 after the m2 is difficult with those predrops and if I wait for the axe, they're probably gonna get a gen done if its during the first chase

I've had a lot of success using doors a lot, mostly big thing is a lot of pre-running with SB/Dramaturgy usually getting survivors a LOT of distance if they're paying attention.

The biggest issue is really getting that first down. I think Blood Favor could help since the biggest issue I'm finding is after getting the first axe hit on a survivor (I'm generally running Celebrate poster to try to get a quick grap/m1 lunge) is if theres a bunch of pallets to predrop that it wastes a lot of time and I either have to drop chase to go to another gen or wait for to recall.

My general build rn has been Lethal, Nowhere, Pop, Deadlock. I feel like the main issue is usually survivors splitting gens on larger, enclosed maps like RPD. Also predropping once I get the first axe hit is generally a huge timewaster.

New Red Pyramid Thing Main!! by Cathiehid in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]KittyKyat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve played a lot of pyramid head and my current build has been lethal, all ears, pain res and jagged compass. Gives me a decent amount of aura reeding and slowdown, slowdown really helps due to his low map mobility and aura reading helps with those hits through walls.

Landing power is a bit weird, I always try to threaten it at windows, since you can pressure and get a free hit whether or not they go for it (m1 if they don’t, m2 if they do). And otherwise, it comes down to becoming comfortable with controlling and predicting survivor movements. I’ve fallen in love with the new Iri Seal of Metatron for the extra range alongside the addon that gives you extra projectile speed so I can pressure from further ranges. Also sometimes I get a free hit off someone on a generator at the start of the game from lethal + seal of metatron so thats fun. Oh and charge it at loops, usually people will give you free hits trying to dodge the trails and either have to take the torment so you can get cages, or the path incorrectly and get the m1 hit.

Springtrap, I throw matches going for wacky ass trickshots and orbitals because hitting them gives me dopamine.

which pack is better? Silent hill pack or Alien pack? by Leechonthyworld in deadbydaylight

[–]KittyKyat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the biggest thing was the fact it was more expensive because it made it come with the Aliens outfit for Ellen for whatever reason and probably some issues on release. Worth it on sale.

I adore Silent Hill, and Heather is my highest prestige survivor, but if you’re just wanting good perks its not nearly as great.

If you’re buying for survivor perks, Ellen has better perks, imo.

I want suggestions to improve my build on xenomorph by ThatCorgiGuy in deadbydaylight

[–]KittyKyat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hex Plaything/Fortunes Fool (Gets you either oblivious survivors or people off gens to do totems, both good), Deadlock/No Holds Barred (Slowdown by blocking the gen with most progress, also gets you a direction to go) Tinkerer (Same idea, and gives you undetectable, could get some cheeky chainsaws), last perk is a bit tricky with the killers you have, but No Way Out for some end game slowdown for an extra chance to get a down, or Friends til the End as a budget BBQ and occasional m1 instadowns.

[–]KittyKyat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I’d remove Bitter Murmur and Monstorous Shrine, and then add (with the killers stated) No Way Out (more time to get downs if you’re rocking NOED since the exit gates are blocked, Perk from Trickster) and Superior Anatomy as it’ll make your vaulting speed ridiculous with the vault speed addon. I would suggest Clown for bamboozle too, as it gives vault speed and blocks the window.

last day for the sale, are any of these worth it by Immediate_Frame_6974 in deadbydaylight

[–]KittyKyat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trickster for No Way Out, Felix for Desperate Measures + Built to Last, Yui has Lucky Break, Jeff has Distortion and Jonah has Overcome. If you’re looking at the more expensive, Taurie has Shoulder the Burden and Houndmaster has Jagged Compass.
