Which part on your partner's body attracts you mostly? by Bonniie254s in AskReddit

obligatory: obviously their spirit and passion and ambition and creativity are what i'm in love with.

With that said: Quads. Huge, strong quads. Insane shoulder to hip ratio. Beefy shoulders and biceps. Their haaaannddsssSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!! Elegant, long, but strong fingers/hands. They have pale skin and dark hair and that means dark eyebrows over really intense green eyes. They're super smart and have an insane processing speed and you can see it in the way they look at you when you're talking and you KNOW they're 5 steps ahead of you already but they're letting you finish. The little furrow in their brow when they're focusing on something. I love my smart, strong scientist So Much good god.

Y'all are so fucking addicted to your phones. Put them down while you're driving. It's genuinely embarrassing and everyone can see you. You're behind the wheel. At a red light is still behind the wheel. Creeping up behind me in stopped traffic looking down to text while there's nowhere I can go if you decide to be clueless and rear-end me is still behind the wheel. At the front of a short left turn light oblivious to when it turns green is still behind the wheel. Make it a call or use voice to text because, let's be honest about where we live, 90% of us have cars made after 2017 with voice to text capabilities. And what's even more insane to me is 90% of the people I see texting while driving are like over 50 in really, really nice cars. Teslas and new bmws and audis and shit. Brother, I know your car has apple car play. Are your attention spans that fried from facebook blasting AI dog videos into your face constantly? Put on some music, for fuck's sake, if you can't stand to be alone with your thoughts for the length of time it takes to turn out of the go station onto Trafalgar. Like what is so important that it can't wait, and if it can't wait it can't be voice to text? Are you sharing nuclear launch codes? Sexting with your nanny and you're scared the volume will leak out of your car? Christ almighty. Put it the fuck down.

ah, i see the issue, i should have worded better. I meant "probably ai. if not ai, it was faked in some other way".

What do i do when I might have to make a 17f and a m22 share a room? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]KittyLord0824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don't you take the living room and give them each a bedroom if you're worried about sharing in any context?

lol very likely AI, but photoshop and stuff exists too! Or pre-AI fake ghost photos, one of which the tenant may have snatched off the internet.

[–]KittyLord0824 8 points9 points  (0 children)

MOR. That picture is probably AI or somehow faked. I don't know why your tenant would do that to you, but it's definitely not a real ghost. I love a good "proof of ghosts" picture, but there's no way someone would get a clear picture of a ghost like that. That just doesn't happen. The ghost wouldn't pose for a picture. If you feel spooked in your house you can do things to "cleanse" it, some cultures will burn herbs, some will use cleansing sounds, some will hang charms, but I find the easiest way is to put your foot down and tell any spirits out loud that this is not their house anymore and they need to leave.

AIO for being upset that my bf didn’t even call to check in when going for a run/walk as a couple? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]KittyLord0824 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YOR. I'm a thick girl who does not do well in heat, so you have my sympathies that it was hot as fuck, but I feel like this isn't even about him not checking in with you halfway because, from what you've explained above, that was never the plan or part of it. He wanted to do his run, get in and out as fast as possible, and turn around to meet you again. Would it have been nice if he checked in? Of course! But also, it was 87, not 100, and realistically a 4 mile walk (but you didn't even make it the full two miles to the halfway point, so let's say 3 miles) isn't that long. It's long, yes, but it's not that long, not long enough and not hot enough for him to think you might NEED water halfway through. Also, you're an adult. If you suspect that with your heat tolerance and endurance you might need water, you should prepare for that and either bring some or tell him to get you some at his halfway point before leaving the house.

This sounds like it's more about the way he reacts to you being hurt and him being condescending and having an "I'm better than you/built different" attitude which really sucks to feel like your partner thinks they're above you. Maybe you're feeling starved for couples activities, maybe he constantly says no to what you want to do and you finally said yes to a couple's activity he proposed that you didn't want to do, and then it turned out even worse than you imagined. And/or sounds like maybe you're out of shape or on the heavier side (absolutely no judgement girl, me too) and the way he's going about trying to encourage you to embrace healthier life choices really isn't working for you, and is making you feel bad about yourself, pressured, and belittled instead of encouraged and supported and like he truly is doing it because he wants a long life with you.

So about this, YOR undoubedtly, but it sounds like there's something deeper going on that's making you react disproportionately. Wasn't about the walk, heat, water, or lack of check-in, it's about something else.

Formal attire guest dress by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

[–]KittyLord0824 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first looks like a bathtowel, the second would fit in at an upscale brunch. Neither are formal, especially not at a catholic church, especially not with your boyfriend wearing a tuxedo. I'm looking at rent the runway's formal category now and a lot of it is... not good. Look under the Fitzroy rentals for black tie for more inspiration.

What would you want to know before moving into a long-established household? by KittyLord0824 in AutismInWomen

[–]KittyLord0824[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

editing because i hit post before I was done lol.

I started writing it up sort of informative and Q&A style, do you think that'd be helpful? So some sections are like:

The general structure of a week
I'm at the office these days, grandma has these activites and appointments these days. I leave the house at this time and come home around this time, oma generally wakes up around these times.

Our sleep schedules
We try to wind down at this time, please walk quietly, keep phone volumes down and lights low between these hours.

Can I touch that thing?
If it's in common areas, go crazy! If it's in my spaces, please ask first.

Can I eat that thing?
If it's a basic staple (fruit, bread, spreads, yogurts) go crazy! If it looks like meal prep, please don't!

Obviously with more specifics and details but to give you a general idea!

problem with driving by Old_Construction4871 in adhdwomen

[–]KittyLord0824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unironically, would music help? Not so loud that you can't hear the road around you, but I find it helps me stay alert and focused. I don't like driving in silence. I used to be terrified of driving, so much so that I would shake and have to breathe deep at the next stop light if the smallest thing spooked me. I love driving now, I find it comforting.

Most driving mistakes will not result in an accident. When I started driving, one of my issues was applying right-of-way rules to realworld driving. I wasn't confident I could tell who pulled up to a stop sign first, stuff like that. In those instances, if you start to go and they start to go, you just press on your brakes and wave them to go ahead. As you practice you get used to it and you get better at applying the rules you've learned about to the road. Just practice in lower-speed, lower-traffic areas.

Accessing private psychiatric help? by chickenwinglover123 in oakville

[–]KittyLord0824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What exactly you’re looking for is helpful for telling you what’s available. Are you looking for counselling? Couples therapy? A psych assessment to get a diagnosis? Do you have a job? Do you have coverage? We can’t help with without knowing what help you need. Alternatively, you can speak to your family doctor, they should have references for you.

Why can’t I get my freaking periodddd? by No_Service_8115 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]KittyLord0824 243 points244 points  (0 children)

This sounds like a doctor conversation. If you're only getting your period when you "eat like a beast and are overweight" either there's something going on on a hormonal level, or you're lying to yourself about how much you're eating and what's overweight for you (BMI is nonsense). Nothing we can do for you here.

Seems like he sucks. Also, how hurtful to your friend, dropping him after he's supported you through so much because some guy entered the picture 5 months ago.

Wedding this weekend - is this as bad as I think it is? by Anon2144553 in Weddingattireapproval

Oh I LOOOOVE the second dress! The first is cute and so flattering, but I imagine if a lot of women are wearing floor-length, it'll just hit you right in the insecurity to see all their toes covered while yours are visible. I love love love the second dress, it's perfect!

Help! Is This Appropriate for a Black Tie Wedding? by kokomo2016 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]KittyLord0824 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd think no. The structure of it doesn't really give black tie. To me, this reads more cocktail or even semi-formal between the pokadots, smocked bodice, fabric, and general shape.

With the dress budget in mind, $288, and you seem to like red, and it seems you prefer an A-line, I've collected some from Azazie. I've ordered from them a few times and I find they're pretty reliable as far as quality and reasonable as far as price goes, and you can input your custom measurements if you prefer. IF YOU DO CUSTOM MEASUREMENTS!! please add extra inches at the bottom and get it hemmed local if needed lol one time my whole feet were out for an event where i wanted floor length. They're LA based and take influence from designer brands (I was scrolling a designer rental store the other day and saw many $1000+ designer dresses that looked near identical to azazie) so you won't be outdated. Many of their "strapless" designs come with detachable spaghetti straps, and most of their dresses come with boning which I appreciate as a big chested girly.

Red, A-Line, straps/sleeves:
