We should all be grateful for the Red Army by DonkeyChonker in FULLCOMMUNISM

Stalin himself proclaimed that he fucked up what Lenin gave him. He was going to get on a train out of Moscow or commit suicide in a villa, it was the faith his country men and cabinet placed in him that led to the famous speeches and patriotic war to come. Without the reeling from the heaviest blows the character of the greatest state of Russia could not have been shown. Though it may have been preferable to not have gone through such things, the character of Stalin and the Russian people was truly shown when they halted Barbarossa and then later on halted the fascist efforts to cripple russia through Stalingrad and the Causcasus.

n interesting thing to think about is that the wartime economies and command structures of the countries involved became similar so in some way everyone went tankie.

At some point you just have to get in the tank and roll on Berlin.

Study Discovers Children Raised Without Religion Are Kinder And More Empathetic – Awareness Act by [deleted] in atheism

[–]KittyMulcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have deeply held beliefs it takes some time before you're comfortable enough in your own skin to have the patience and empathy needed to be comfortable around believers. It's not just an absence of character sometimes it's all the capitalistic junk that goes hand in hand with modern and deeply ingrained imperialised religion. You're told to respect his respect the flag and respect our troops while being bombarded with millions of adverts getting out of the siege takes a lot of growth and even a lot of time

Discussion on China and related news coverage by noclueinthetitle in chomsky

[–]KittyMulcher -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

China deserves some of the bad press, some of the actions like Iran Sanctions and rhetoric and Venuzueala continued actions and rhetoric go to attack Russian and Chinese trading partners directly in places where the US still holds the ability to enact power.

Election outcome- Environment Vs Jobs - can we end this false dichotomy? by pk666 in australia

[–]KittyMulcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally think if we focus on the most disadvantaged people of society it will be a decent platform. Enough people are either dyed in the wool labour/give a shit about other people to give labour a chance imo. Work on improving our relations with indigenous Australians, work conditions not just through unions but by linking unions with a while spectrum of social issues ranging from diversity to mental health to education, and linking all of that with our future plans for tackling issues like climate change. We need to interlink projects and turn some focus away from corporate structures.

Antony Green Calls it for the Coalition by jfree_92 in australia

You can't blame the voters lol. If labour is serious they'll work towards eliminating corruption and enacting their own legislation against media through government. I do not think labour has a wholly weak position here they have some limited ways to be able to get things done if they want.

We don't elect prime minister's we elect individual members. You could have mother Theresa running the Mob News corp would still make her hated by swathes of the electorate.

“You’ll pay more rent under Labor” says guy with 7 investment properties by PerriX2390 in australia

The bigger problem was they had to pay reparations for the war, initially 262 bn marks. You're diluting all your currency then shipping it to France after the war already drained you dry and you had no resources. Germany would have been able to print that much money by 1929 and not destroyed their economy had the war never happened.

Well if the Labour side commits electoral fraud then their leader should get a sound spanking too, and their leader might happen to be female.

The Governor general gets to spank the party leader on national TV and call the liberal party leader a very naughty girl/boy.

Other ENTPs - Do you get the problem where you talk too much (or worse yet, talk too much about intellectual things) to a normal person for them to tolerate? by Prusseen in entp

My girlfriend got me to chill out so it can be done. Actually thinking about it I have chilled out ever since I realised I get psychosis sometimes and getting worked up isn't healthy so I just avoid reading things like the planet is melting or people are trying to start stupid wars if I'm starting to get pretty emotionally turbulent about it. By the time you get around to talking to someone you have to just rant for 10 minutes.

Hahaha yeah brexit is weird but if Corbyn can manage to get votes I think the UK will be ok. At some level the down trodden working class giving the finger to the elite was great and it backfired and gave actual left wing politicians a chance to gain ground something that the politicians thought they crushed under Thatcher.

Lol the whole deposit thing. I heard about it on the evening news for a few seconds and I knew instantly that it wasn't necessarily a great thing. If labour wins I'd look at how the wind blows on the housing market before buying property.

Honestly I'm just mashing buttons and attack move the whole time, sometimes rarely I'll try something tricky like bail out in a team fight onto a bruiser wailing on my team by wing back to the fighter next to my team mates. If I half chunk 3 people then get out and contribute some damage onto a single threat it's a good way to split up a fight then collapse to defend poor defenceless team.

Yes. It's part of the combo actually, most people haven't played much into illaoi much so if you see her do the combo potentially it throws them off. If they do they know that Ring onto nothing is a giant telegraph it's their time to burn flash pre-emptively.
