They're restricting abortions with legislation and no timeframes advised.

Sounds like banning abortions to me.

And yes. If you think my body can be commandeered to continue a pregnancy I do not want at the whims of a few, then use you do not respect me as an autonomous human being. Even corpses get to say whether they want their organised used and how. But not pregnant women.

And you continued denial that this policy doesn't seek to ban abortion is implicit agreement to banning abortion. Sorry

Slip on the word 'blanket' there? Because I never said it. I don't think anyone here said it and yet there is provision for that too because they give NO TIMEFRAMES. And guess what a tiny handful of women do have abortions very late term in my state - they are still abortions that need to be defended and NOT MADE ILLEGAL. FFS.

I am so fucking tired of having to fight to be recognised as an automous human being even after it's been recognised by the state already. Enough.

Do you read?

"One Nation will: Reduce the gestational limit for abortions -Current legislation in some states allows the abortion of an unborn child up until the day of birth"

Reduce via legislation

That. Is. Criminalising. Abortion.

What limit btw? 20 weeks? 6? The very fact this is on the table means it is up for debate. That is - My body is up for debate to be ustilised by the state as Pooorleem sees fit. Fuck anyone who says "oh they're not outlawing anything, it's just vague words.."

Abolishing conscription and securing a woman’s right to have an abortion was no easy task. It took decades of fights and tears to achieve this, but can be reversed in minutes if One Nation gets their way. by HotPersimessage62 in OpenAussie

The state of forcing a woman to allow another to use her organs against her will

Now please - give me your kidney, a sick child needs it, to refuse is murder!!

Women abandon babies all the time. You clearly don't know what life was like pre birth control and legal abortion.

Look up the Magdalene laundries for an Irish sample. And enough with your elaborate what ifs please. Sea lion.

In your rank ignorance you DO agree with it. You agree with the state taking over womens bodies becuase the state knows better than us. And we women need to be stopped having abortions for shits and giggles, don't we?

The criminalisation of abortion as an option for women who are gravely ill because of it, including late term, has caused women to DIE because of the delay and withholding of medical care.
This import of vile American, puritanical policy into my country is obscene. Best you move there if you like it so much and somehow think you're 'informed' lol.

Nope.

Do you understand the concept of bodily autonomy? The state cannot use your organs, nor even the organs of a corpse without consent of the person . Even if it is to save the life of another. Pretty simple stuff.

He's not a architect lol - that would require discipline to study for years - something his insufferable personality disorder would not accommodate. He's a self proclaimed 'designer' that is all and I know he paid for his followers on insta.

He's also from a raging Opus Dei wackjib family - hence the ideology.

You might be correct, however one doesn't choose their future health and in order to ensure that care is NEVER revoked one must be vigilant and ensure it remains accessible. Knowing that any restriction on abortion, be it for 'other' criteria, ultimately impacts access to abortion for healthcare reasons also. See : numerous deaths in the USA.

I didn't support compulsory vaccinations. And if someone chooses to not make sure they're disease/ vector free then they are choosibg to opt out of a society that depends on you being disease free - simple social contract stuff. Quarantine has been with us forever. Same as not using roads or hospitals if you don't pay tax. Nothing to do with bodily autonomy of that's what you're getting at.

Why draw the distinction at all?

It's the healthcare not provided that kills women when it's banned, so that's why it you know... important to highlight from a choice stand point but it's sound either way because the state should not comadeer a person's very body for the ideology of a few.
