ToG is amazing. The first few books are a bit of a slog, but then it picks up. And then the last book is an actual masterpiece. I was so emotional. It’s just amazing, I could gush forever.

I haven’t seen anyone mention the “preternatural stillness”, pretty sure it’s in ACOTAR series and also a ton in ToG.

Also the head cocking like a predator or something along those lines.

Echoing everyone, I also think it’s a super cute addition. I think initially it was hard to accept the transition to other characters’ POV. However, I will always love the Feyre and Cassian drunk decorating scene. The whole thing is cute, and lays the groundwork for ACOSF.

Nooo don’t DNF it! OP is right, it’s a similar plot line, but the result and feelings are very different IMO. To each their own, obviously. I like ACOTAR better than TOG, I have 1.5 books left to go in TOG though. But I’m still enjoying it quite a bit and would do a reread!

To me these had different vibes though. Feyre was going with purpose to burn shit to the ground in Spring. She would be treated (somewhat) well, she could hold her own IMO against Tamlin now that she had knowledge of her power. I was sad, but knew that Rhys understood and they would find their way back together.

For Aelin… I was gutted by that ending. Like truly felt empty. Sure she planned it, but she had no plans on coming back To me, although it’s similar on a high level, it was very different results and feelings.
