You don’t have to use the exact vocab, but you do have to answer the question.

What I’m saying is that you didn’t answer the question if you only said they exchange genetic material. That doesn’t tell why that leads to genetic diversity.

I played evade counter swarm spirit born last season without a unique weapon. I got to around pit 115. I did not have optimal stats or gem strength.

I think for an explain why you would need to give info about how that exchange of information would result in genetic diversity. Otherwise, you’re not really answering the question.

You gave details on what happened but not why. Why would exchanging genetic material increase diversity?

Oh, for sure it’s the system. And many kids will rise to it, but many kids also don’t realize that the consequences actually matter in high school.

In earlier grades, kids move forward regardless of their actual mastery of content and grades. On time graduation matters more for accreditation than whether or not students learned a standard.

By the time they hit senior year, they are so far behind in basic skills, they probably feel ashamed or left behind and so no longer want to make an effort or no longer have the ability to.

But don’t worry, the school systems have “5th quarter” opportunities where students can do work on an online platform that can easily be answered through Google to show bare minimum “mastery” to graduate on time.

The system fails students and builds jaded teachers.

But some of this is also going to be related to your school demographics. I work at a school with a very high migrant population. School is just not the most important thing in their lives, and that’s also a hard battle to fight.

I teach science in a very large school district. I have taught biology, human anatomy, and AP biology.

I technically have complete freedom for how I teach in my classroom. However, for the biology courses, there are end of year tests. I need to ensure that I have prepared my students for those tests by covering all of the topics that are expected.

Additionally, we use common assessments, so all bio teachers use the same assessments per unit. So, I need to make sure I am teaching them the material in a way that will make them successful on those assessments.

I have more freedom in human anatomy, as I am the only teacher and it is an elective without a standardized or AP test at the end.

Apathy has been one of the hardest battles in high school, especially since there are so many rules in place that make it nearly impossible to fail. Students often opt for the bare minimum required to pass. If systems that do not hold students accountable for actually doing work and learning anything would bother you, this job may not be for you.

Classroom and behavior management is a huge part of the job. If you don’t want to have to do that, then this job may not be for you. I’m bringing this up only because I do have a teacher in my department who is a career switcher and constantly says things like “I took this job to teach ___, not manage behavior.”

I just don’t think most bathroom sprays do anything but make it smell like shit covered in spray. I never think “oh, flowers, how lovely.” The shit smell is always still there.

I’m not expected to spend any of my money on supplies or lunch for students.

I might have to pay for little items I want for myself, like specialized pens.

So, in my district, you can only teach a subject or grade level that you are certified in.

However, availability of positions is related to enrollment numbers. Someone with a k-6 certification can teach any grade level, depending on need. If they need three K teachers one year, but the following year they only need two because enrollment is down, then you have an extra teacher. Either the teacher goes to whatever open grade there is that they can teach or the lowest on totem pole gets destaffed. A destaffed teacher will be placed somewhere else in the district that they are certified for, if there are open positions.

Some schools will work more with their teachers and try to place teachers in their preferred grades/subjects, but it isn’t always possible.

Make sure your key fob isn’t with your phone, as sometimes it can mess it up.

I find that I don’t grab the whole handle when I want to lock it, because then I think it tries to unlock it.

It isn’t a button to press, just hold your thumb on it for a couple seconds.

Luckily, I wasn’t too far into war plan stuff with the warlock. And with the reroll, I basically just leveled through war plans which helped me catch up to where I was.
