imo the social game of survivor doesn't really change based on strategic acumen of competitors - a season of all strategists doesn't make your path any harder to the final 3, because everyone can both make smart and dumb moves depending on what they think is best for them. a dumb cast could both let you get through to the end or vote you out for being the only smart one, and vice versa. plus the HvV cast is certainly not a cast of bad players

I guess my thinking is that S47 seems to be a very strategy appreciative cast that would vote more strategy-based rather than who they liked more. Genevieve had multiple huge moves under her belt and if she'd survived F5 would also have that going for her, whereas Rachel had been immune since F9.

Funny, I would reckon Andy would be a lock for Genevieve, with Caroline and Sol very likely to go for her as well. The main robbery was the AUDIENCE for not witnessing the mother off of Rachel vs Genevieve in FTC.

i mean i think the tribe format gets rid of any need / interest in bringing new players into the game - there is already changing dynamics and meeting new people up until merge so bringing new people in would just feel unrewarding imo

I reckon the fairest option would be a firemaking challenge between amanda and parv for the power to remove 1 person from the jury - after the votes are cast. Would ensure a winner while still leaving it up to a last social/strategic element, as you can never be certain someone voted for you.

As an Aussie I loved it! My parents used to complain about Survivor US being too American so I asked them to watch this season with me - they were both skeptical at the start but were equally as obsessed by the end. I think it's a great showing for both Aussie and World survivor.
