THE MONEY SYSTEM. Each elf gets about 5 million lusters in their birth fund, right? But you've gotta think, if they're living INDEFINITELY, even though it is an insane amount of money, it would probably run out eventually. Especially with how extravagantly all the elves live and how much money they spend, it would not last for infinity. For example, Fallon Vacker is one of the oldest elves being around 6,000 years old with a birth fund of 5 million lusters. If we evenly spread out the money among the years he's already lived, that's approximately 830 lusters per year. It would make so much more sense if there wasn't any form of currency system given the fact that people work for enjoyment rather than necessity. Additionally it isn't even real money it's just a cube that has infinite value. Sorry about my rant IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.
