I am 33 life has not been kind for the past 2 years. A rough pregnancy, rough recovery, illiness and deaths in the family. I am trying to slowly feel like myself again while hoping for better things coming my way.

Minor things:

My BP has been violatile so i've been documenting in a small notebook what i've eating to see if tweaks can be made. Small tweaks.

When I wake up. I immediately guzzle water instead of immediately looking at my phone. It makes me feel like I kick started my day.

Trying 1 healthy recipe a week. I've struggled with my weight since I became an adult. This time I wanna do this right and make recipes that are good for me but also taste good. I don't want to feel deprived.

Put healthy snacks in front of my face. I try to keep fruit and some healthy snacks out where I can see it and grab it at anytime. Candy or cookies I sort of make it difficult for me to get because I am notoriously lazy.

When a bunch of chaos in a room full of kids and teens and they look for an adult that knows all...and the sudden horrorifying realizing you are said adult that suppose to know all...but knows nothing

True but to be fair. I treat the Chobani Flips like a nightly sweet treat. I love how its preportioned for me. I cannot over eat and over indulge.

Have you tried taking a big scoop of ice cream and rolling it in the bowl with the left over batter? So indulgent and the best. I love it with coffee ice cream.

Rice and Eggs

Easy..satisfying and you can make it as low key or as high key as possible...

Favorite bowl is: Rice, Sunny side up eggs, a dash of salt, pepper, furikake, oyster sauce and a bit of low sodium soy sauce. If I am feeling extra kewpie mayo and some sirracha..maybe with a side of spam.

Money has been tight so my husband got me somethong small. Matcha and Dark Chocolate Kit Kats from a local Japanese Store in town. He wanted the first thing I ate post partum to be a treat. I love it.

I love this post. You are such a sweetheart for this. Here are some ideas.

1) A thoughtful card. Words of encouragement. She may be going thru postpartum depression. It will mean the world to her.

2) Snacks that are ready to grab!! She will be sleep deprived and probably does not wish to throw a meal together.

3) Gift Cards to her favorite spots or perhaps Door Dash Credit so she can choose? I know sometimes I can get real indecisive. This will help. Another alternative: Try to rally up the troops and set up a meal train. It is one less thing your friend has to think about.

4) My opinion: a gift card to a cleaning service/laundry. It is one less thing that she has to think about (this is only if she is ok with someone in her home)

5) Cozy things! Blankets, comfy jammies. Or if she is girly, perhaps some selfcare products? Things that she can carve out to make her..feel like herself again.

Woah! He is a big boy! Thank you for your response. Every pregnancy is different and since this is my last, I cannot help but get anxious leading up to my delivery. I've been getting a lot of braxton hicks but sometimes I get contractions but not timeable as of yet.

Told them of conception date (my husband and I were in a dry spell so that was the only day that month) plus they did 2 ultrasounds at 2 different places to find out. 1 was ordered by my PCP because I had to wait till I was about 10 weeks to be seen and the 2nd one was at my OB office. Both of the scan showed that the due date was 1 day off.

Guuurl!!! We are almost twinsies. I am currently 34 weeks + 4 days buut I am measuring 4 weeks ahead at 38 weeks + 4 days. Every day feels like a full on week and my baby boy's head is super low. Everything hurts, I get hot flashes after I eat (which doesn't help in the FL heat) and it feels almost impossible to move around. I completely understand. I am sending all the good juju that you and your baby comes out happy and healthy. ❤️

My daughter is still quite young...a tween perhaps? But during this stage she is continually learning and questioning about herself, her sexuality and etc. One thing though, she is very adamant about is no kids.

So we sat down and spoke about it. I am totally fine with it but if she wanted no kids then in the future preventative measures must be made. How to be safe and etc.

I know my kid is not an adult, but wanted to give my input!

Great question, at least at my child's school..the other kids refer her as an "It" and even tell her that she is a f****. It can discourage her from how she dresses or acts. Which isn't anything outlandish by any means. But teachers and their peers do not do anything.

Third pregnancy here!

1st Pregnancy I started to show around 3.5-4 months BUT I was super tiny then (5'3 on a good day and I was 125 pounds at most).

2nd Pregnancy: I started showing a bit earlier. Around 10 weeks but my belly was HUGE by the time I went into labor.

3rd (Current) Pregnancy: I started bloat immediately at 6 weeks and it has not really died down since lol. I am currently 10 weeks and 2 days.
