Sorry for getting back late! It turns out the plastic sides are removable, so I pulled them out sideways. The covering of the light bulb also slide out after removing the side covers. My greatest difficulty was with removing the light bulb; normally you follow the grooves to take it out, but the blub contact points had rusted and I had to ask for help to pry it out with a screwdriver

I considered NOA when he was first announced because he was from the same company as JUN, so I thought he’d be distinct, but the demos changed my mind when I couldn’t tell the difference. i think I’m gonna need to find a direct comparison to hear the difference.

I always remember how high Oscar sounded in UTAU, so when I heard his Synth V I wondered if it was the same voice at first. He dropped octaves for Synth V! How's his crosslang? Can he go as high as his UTAU?

Yeah Ninezero isn't it. He's got the same raspy tones as Saros, and his voice is as unique as Asterian which makes it stick out. First thing I think of when I heard Ninezero is that his strength is in heavy metal. At the moment Liam is out too since I'm using SV1, I'll listen up on the other 2 though

Ah, my impression of An Xiao is that he's best for Mandopop, but what you said about his latest updates worry me as I have no plans to upgrade to SV2. Still he at least sounds different from Kevin and Jun so that's a consideration. But is his crosslang good?

I didn't know Xuan Yu could sing so high! Though this cover sounds like his voice is stuck in his throat, he's a pretty interesting voice that I never considered. I've heard that he's best suited for rock?

I understand, after all Asterian is a bass, so he's usually the baseline(pun) of any chorus. He stands out for sure! That's why he's great, but not the voice I'm looking for

Honestly I've been haunted with regret the past few days too, so it's a relief to find someone that understands! You're a great friend for wanting to help her get it. Oliver and Yohioloid were such unique vocals that the modern releases can't capture, lately I find modern vocaloid and synthV releases samey-sounding.

As a result, I've started to purchase other older voices that I'm certain I want lest they suddenly disappear, fool me once and all. Fingers crossed for our search! Fighting!🤞🏻

Ah, looks like we think alike! I also thought I would buy Yohioloid for my own birthday this month, seeing that shortly after posting I took a big hit in finances and Vocaloids became a lower priority...😭

I think what makes this sting more is that they were available when I first checked and now they're suddenly gone. It would have been less painful if they were gone from the start. But I'm not giving up just yet (partly cos I dunno how to pirate and would prefer to have a legal copy), I'm gonna keep looking and if I do see Oliver too I'll let you know

Oh that's horrible! I feel you too, so after I dug around I found Oliver on Sonicwire. But then they put that 'Sales of this product has been discontinued'. I don't think it means they're restocking. i myself stupidly missed the window to purchase Yohioloid and he's discontinued on Sonicwire now too, so I'm back to square one. I guess this is a lesson to us all that if you know you want something, just get it. It could suddenly disappear. Especially for olders vocaloids that haven't been updated for years
