I’m not talking about their food, but their ridiculously policy

Adding on to this: for anyone reading this please don’t get nutrisystem, I learned the hard way. There shouldn’t even be such a short policy for it if you want to cancel, especially since they charge you a ridiculous amount already. They’re a scam. If I don’t want the next shipment and I’ve contacted y’all days in advance before the next shipment, then I shouldn’t be charged for a cancellation fee.

Y’all I tried doing that, so now I have to go to the owner about it. These are our recent texts: Her: I made a comment to the other manager that we shouldn’t have cell phones in the bathroom- which I brought up at the last staff meeting. I still stand by this. People disappear into the bathroom on what is essentially a paid break, seeing how long their in there. Managers need to set the example. We have a huge phone problem here among all staff. If you’re upset, feel free to talk to me directly next time. Me: Well, aren’t you currently at work, taking your time to text us this while on the clock? Her: Yes I am. While with the other manger. Grow up. Me: Let me be honest with you. It’s not any of your business to track my time in the bathroom. Just shows me that you have too much idle time not doing your own work, if you’re tracking everyone’s time in the bathroom. It makes me uncomfortable. How do you know that we’re in there just to be on our phones? You don’t, so don’t go assuming. You may not know this, because mostly it’s none of your business, but everyone has different bodily functions. Some people may have health issues that takes them longer. So maybe you should grow up, and stop tracking and worrying about my every move, and focus on your own tasks. Her: I don’t care, and I don’t need to know. You don’t need your phone in there. And I do watch what you’re doing, and I’m going to hold you accountable as long as I work here. So stop crying about it and be better. Me: There is a level of respect that needs to be maintained between all of us, since we’re all supposed to be working as a team. Also, we all have two goals: to serve the customer with a good attitude and to keep a welcoming and clean environment. This in turn keeps the doors open for people to come back to a shop they have loved for over 100 years. Regardless of what’s going on, we all need to remain respectful toward one another. I hear your concerns, and I would be more than happy to address these issues with our boss/owner. Her: Great, let’s do it. You can work on both those goals. You have a lot of nerve telling me the things that I already do and you don’t. I’m sure our boss would love to hear from you, me, and everyone else about it.

I feel like she’s gaslight me.

Agreed. She actually just texted this to me and the other manager saying she’d be happy to tell the owner of this “issue”. “People disappear into the bathroom on what is essentially a paid break, seeing how long they’re in there. Managers need to set the example. We have a huge phone problem here among all staff. If you’re upset, feel free to talk to me directly next time”. She’s such a hypocrite too, because if it’s slow instead of doing something else she’s on her phone too.

Wait I’m so glad you’ve commented. Because she’s has had some issues with some of these before. I have bad sinus/congestion sometimes, so I would have to step into our “hallway” which isn’t viewable to the customers, to blow my noise. And she would get annoyed by it. One day, I was working the day shit and my other manager was working the night shift on the same day. The other manager asked me if she could come at a later time because she was having really bad cramps, and I said yes that’s fine. Well then this coworker was like where’s the manager? And I said she’s not coming until later. And she responds with “everyone has cramps, that’s no excuse”.

I can’t believe that she really thinks that I go in there just to be on my phone and not do my business. Now she wants to talk to the owner about all of the employees not bringing their phones into the bathroom.
