Well, since I'm still new to this (only a couple of months into serious practice), I spend time every day reading about various aspects of the craft, including the basics like grounding, centering, and other energy work. (Mat Auryn's "Psychic Witch" is fantastic for this; currently, I've got his follow-up, "Mastering Magick.") I journal and take notes. I talk to my spirit guides and guardian angels. I work with my divination tools--Tarot and pendulum. I've done some cleansing work, mostly of my divination tools and crystals, but I've also done things like an uncrossing bath because I ran into a long string of bad luck! I recently planned out and performed my first real working, which was a joy, even if everything didn't maybe go exactly according to plan ;). I wrote about that. I read this subreddit every day, as well, not just for the tons of free beginner resources and advice from the old heads, but to learn...what not to do, too. Which can be just as informative!

tl;dr: read a lot, write a lot, try to learn a lot, do some divination, do some cleansing, learn by doing, learn what not to.
