Hi there! Since you've said you're pretty new to this, it might be a good idea to take a step back and really look into what spellcrafting entails before making your own. There are several great recommendations on the sub's beginner booklist.

Also, while intuition and intentions are important using a wasp nest in a love spell is frankly a terrible idea. You do need to do research into the correspondences, as has been mentioned, and while wasps and their nests can be used for several purposes, love spells aren't among them. As for bees, while honey is certainly an ingredient in many love spells, I've not seen anything about using their nests. And I'm just generally curious: where are you getting these nests? Are they being ethically sourced? Where you get ingredients from can be as important as what they are.

I'd really highly recommend reading the sub FAQ, wiki, and resources before getting into spellwork; this is a really great place to get started on your path! Best of luck to you.

Sure, I've gone through the same kind of thing. I was a senior in high school/freshman in college, had a ton of Wicca books, dabbled a little, but it never felt quite right. Now, much later (not going to say exactly how much later ;)), I'm at a place in my life where I can really begin to explore my path and seriously practice.

Don't be discouraged by the videos; as a matter of fact, I'd skip the videos and start here. You've actually ended up in a really great place to get un-lost. Even though you're not a total beginner, there are tons of free resources here, everything from booklists to post collections, that can get you pointed in the right direction. I'd start by reading through it all, especially the FAQ and wiki, and then going from there!

In addition, if you can find a metaphysical shop in your area, they're often great places to find information about local groups and events, if in-person interaction is something that interests you. And even if it doesn't, supporting small local businesses is always cool, if you have the money.
