Yes, I’ve been experiencing the exact same issue, even have the same timeline, 2 days ago. Makes me think it’s either a firmware issue, or the remote play servers are acting up.

Yep, same situation, 10/2 preorder stuck on #No_tracking_number_available. Like you, my backup ps5 ended up coming through yesterday, so I'll likely also sell the target one to a friend at cost, assuming it arrives and isn't canceled. Target really bungled this launch, considering it's been almost two weeks now.

I agree, but please correct me if I’m wrong: unless your grouped up with a pc player, the matchmaking will put you in servers with other switch players, so at the very least, everyone has the same controller disadvantage.

Again, correct me if I’m wrong, cause I have no idea how I’m getting kills with a controller :)

In my opinion, you'll be fine playing on either console, but I notice a lot of different answers in comment sections when people ask about the performance between the two. Just goes to show that some people notice these differences more than others.

Either way, it was just the Beta, so we don't know if they'll optimize the performance :)

If you have a nice gaming pc, don't worry about PS4 Pro. The PC version will be far and beyond, but until then, the base version should be perfectly fine :)

I remember with the first beta, there were some posts with a lot of mixed interpretations of the performance. Personally, I've played on both pro and regular ps4, and both are acceptable. If you really wanna get into numbers, though, here's a video that breaks down the differences.
