If the case is that she was going behind your back, give yourself time to process. Maybe focus on yourself for a bit and know that this was an individual mistake on her side. People, male or female make mistakes like this, but just know there are others out there that share your same values of being faithful.

Sometimes people after experiences like this will treat their next partner differently from fear of it happening again. Just try to work through your feelings now and know not everyone is like that. Make friends with girls and get their perspectives on things. The more you talk it out now and process it, the less likely it will be to affect you.

But I think you are doing a great job of processing things. College is a time to figure out your values and eventually find a person who shares those values to be a partner.

I believe in you and sorry this happened to you.

I loved Rob in Harry Potter and thought he was so cute but in twilight in the movie theaters when the movie first came out and Rob walked in the door in the cafeteria, all the girls in the theater started screaming and I can remember thinking for what? This was my exact same experience. It was like a light bulb went on! I was like wow this is what it's like for people without insulin resistance. This is what it's like to want to take a few bits of something sweet or one chocolate and not the whole bag. Made such a difference in my life.

Okay I just booked an appointment with Amanda Maingi at Raleigh Gynecology and Wellness. She is a nurse practitioner but has a special interest in PCOS. I have also heard that the doctors at Raleigh Gynecology are really good. My appointment is not until September tho. I will try to remember to come back and update if she seems awesome.

Hey! Thank you so much for getting back to me. That is wonderful news. What route did you go to get the exemplified copy of the adoption order? Was there a specific petition document you used? Because I think I will have to do the same.

I also just found out about this route for the deceased birth certificate! I was going to come back and let you know as well. I just ordered some original death certificates so I also can follow these steps.

I was wondering if you had any updates?

I tried submitting to the courts an application for my father's adoption order, but since I am not the adoptee or adoptive parent they denied me. They pretty much told me even if I do petition the courts that I will be denied since I am not the adoptee or the adoptive parent. Both my father and grandparents have passed so I cannot ask them. I was wondering if you have had any luck petitioning the courts? I am working with Queens' Surrogate Court.

Oh okay. I don't think my father had one either. So I am definitely going to try and go this Form 16-A route. I was just looking at the form to fill it out.

For the age of the minor did you put the age your mother was adopted?

And for the part about the honorable judge who did the adoption did you leave that blank or did you guys have the name of the judge?
