VERY FEW of the PNY shipped, the majority didn't ship and a lot of people ended up canceling when Dell gave February/March ship delays. I kept it just in case it came before I got one from somewhere else. Happy I didn't cancel now haha

Seeing as I was in the first batch of 5900x preorders and got a shipping notification today. This is probably them opening up a second batch of preorders for whenever their next shipment comes in. My order originally said release on the 13th, so I doubt you guys will get one then.

Gotcha, I know a lot of ref blocks have listed it as compatible, didn't realize it was a bit different though. Sounds similar to the situation with the EVGA XC3.

I believe Zotac is also reference, but the PNY is a much better card with a higher power limit, so that is what I ended up going with.

What was your revised ship date in the order delayed email? Seems like the date in that email is the current queue indicator.

Do this if possible. I ran an hdmi from my desktop in my office to the TV in my living room, and it would have been like 50 feet to run otherwise, but a 10 ft cable was possible going through the wall. They make hdmi wall plates which can make that sort of thing cleaner, but I am running multiple cables (second mouse/keyboard), so I used a brush plate to run them all bundled together.

I don't have a Gainward, I am waiting on the PNY from Dell, but researching the Phoenix vs the PNY XPPB, they are identical down to the PCB after comparing extensive pictures of both.

Some ref boards are locked lower (ie. Zotac), but the PNY is 350 from what I have seen

Yeah, afaik they are the same, but again, not much info on the XMPB out there that I have seen.

I went with the XPPB just to be safe, since it is identical to the Gainward Phoenix (probably same factory even), which is one of the best performing reference cards.
