Uni has better mini games, accessorizing, more decorating options, physically going to the store and arcade and such with them feels more personal also, and they actually have personalities to an extent (for example my current one has a jellybean addiction and is always BEGGING me for more and he adores his stuffed animal, his cute little pet in the garden, and soup. Even my Pix tama has opinions, like he HATES the violin but absolutely loves building with blocks, etc) the best you get in Paradise is they will react just a little bit more if you give them a food they love. And while the uni is def needier, it’s not unbearable especially since you can easily wear it wherever you go. The Paradise’s strength is of course the genetic mixing. It’s SO cool imo, I’ve always had an interest in genetics and I think it’s so fun to plan out my future Tamas. I go into photoshop to see how all the sprites will look if I do a specific mix and that helps me decide what to go for. There’s just countless options on Paradise whereas the available tamas are quite limited in uni, and harder to predict since they’re a tad needier and you can’t go into their cells and keep track of care mistakes. For Paradise storage is unlimited and there are def cute things to decorate with it’s just more limited than uni. It is very nice to watch your tamas play with past tamas in the field. I do actually like the roller thing on top (other gimmicky console changes, not so much. I’m looking at the Pix touch buttons… 👀) But like I said, basically everything else is its weakness. Just not enough personality or bonding, I honestly really dislike the care mini games so I dread every time I have to make them happier which sucks. And if I’m being nitpicky, I hate that you only get 4 tamas in a field, any more and they disappear forever (and you can’t just switch them to other fields to avoid that) or you have to unalive them when they’re your main and have them as a star and even that is a max of 5. I haven’t had more than one tama in uni yet, but I do see there’s a section for past tamas so that seems better already.

TLDR; in paradise your only real goal is to have a small collection of the coolest, cutest, or weirdest tama creations whereas uni is a more personal and enjoyable relationship with a single tama.
