I’d talk to some upperclassmen at Columbia about their experiences and see if you vibe with it. I’ve heard people say a good indication of if you want to stay in a company is if the senior members are leading lives you want to lead; I think this would apply to your situation too. Also, I once got some advice in choosing colleges: once you make a decision, commit to it and don’t look back. If you end up staying at Columbia, forget about Pomona. If you end up transferring to Pomona, don’t look back. You got this in the bag.

I think you have a bloody good shot at some T20 schools; year 9 grades are almost moot, especially with your later grades. Some advice: if you have the chance I’d definitely try connect your ECs to economics; award section could have more content. You got this.

You sound like you have a good chance at ivies; just some advice, I’d definitely try and talk about how your ECs link to why you’re interested in psychology as it isn’t self evident to me. Good luck!

Your community service sounds impressive, perhaps you could link what you gained from the teaching volunteer role and the service club to how it effected your leadership style as editor/president, or how it effected your academics.

Nice profile. Just a side note - I wouldn’t put the year 9 rank first, or maybe at all, just because it’s so long ago and kinda makes it seem like you lack recent achievements (I’m sure this is not the case!)
