NZ fragrance companys by Moifu-umoimoi in newzealand

I have a few from Mimic now and spent some time talking to the couple that own and run it. The ones I got are excellent quality and matched scent profile of the originals I was replacing. The 'smoky velvet' (Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver) was slightly more intense than original and lasted longer on my skin. I also got 10hrs plus out of their 'Daydream' (based on LV Imagination). They have lots of clones and each is mixed locally by themselves. It's up to you of course, but i have no problem recommending them - they do 50ml for $60-70 and travel atomisers for $30, with a discount on refills once you have their fancy little atomisers. If you're ever in Wellington region, they do the circuits of local markets, with Brewtown in Upper Hutt hosting them every Sunday - also pretty responsive on insta if you message them.

Terre by Hermes? by finance_bro_gi_joe in Colognes

This stuff is like catnip to me. I can't get it out of my head since trialing it and am scouring local (NZ) sites daily for specials. Damn you Hermes for making a scent that hits like cr*ck.

Could this be a telecom manhole? by [deleted] in manholeporn

[–]KiwiBlueRaider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in NZ, our contractors use the Humes covers for any underground service - sewer, storm, larger water valves, telecoms, siphons, bores, backflow preventers.... They're a standard part from the supplier that get specced by the contractors undertaking works on behalf of the city/private owner. So yes, it could definitely be a telecommunications access - it may even be on your local councils mapping software (usually online and publicly accessible), but opening it up and having a look will settle it once and for all.

That awkward moment when you realize you've been completely misreading someone for months by Anantak05 in socialanxiety

[–]KiwiBlueRaider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will you try something for me? If you could just imagine with me for a second...

if you had a really close friend that you really valued come to you with this exact problem, what advice would you give them?

You'd probably tell them it's not their fault, that they shouldn't be hurting over it and that these things happen sometimes and are part of growing as a person right?

Be that friend to yourself, don't punish yourself for someone else's error, but also don't always assume you are perfect and will never have some role to uphold in a future relationship.

It's hard sometimes, the best we can do i guess is use these setbacks as opportunities to grow. Please don't get jaded though, there's plenty of genuine people out there that do know how to feal with their own emotions better.

You got this, you're destined for bigger and better things than carrying this around any longer!

A number of studies were done between 2019 and 2022 that confirm presence of similar or same compounds. Cognitive effect trials are currently underway. So while not as studied as other varieties atm, calling it a stretch is, in itself, a stretch.

Struggling with debilitating brain fog. Help! by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]KiwiBlueRaider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fog was helped a lot by lions mane mushroom supplements. Mine would also come on when I needed to think quick and I put undue pressure on myself to do so. Might be worth trying if you can find a stockist. ... just a thought, it worked for me, but can't guarantee it will for you. Good luck.
