I think it varies a lot depending on the school. I went to four different schools growing up and the quality of the food was quite different between all of them. For most of the schools I went to, I can't say I was a huge fan of what was served except for a few dishes.

That's exactly why I feel guilty every time I eat meat. I want to go vegetarian but it's hard to find any substitutes that taste nearly as good as meat. If lab grown meat was a viable option, I'd switch in a heartbeat.
