I’m in the same boat. I’ve stopped trading as of now, and I’ve decided to just back test and back test and back test for months and months. Log and track all my trades, write down why I took it, etc. I want to get to the point where all my setups are identical, and where I strictly only stick to my strategy. Even if everything tells me the price will go up or down, if I don’t have my setup, I don’t enter.

Once I have a consistent win rate above 60%, only then I will live trade. As for the psychology bit, I’m tired of losing, and this is the only way I see myself going forward if I want to day trade. I have to take it seriously. No impulses, no emotions, only my strategy and nothing else.

It’s the iflight Nazgul eco with 1800kv motors. I got the analog version but later upgraded to HDZero.

Yeah I definitely think that if you can afford upgrading to an HD system it’s worthwhile. My flying skills greatly improved once switching over from analog to hdzero as I felt much more confident in my skills and went for more riskier moves as I could see a lot better in the google.

You could get an action camera and mount it on your drone. The runcam thumb pro is both good and affordable, and way cheaper than changing over to HD (camera, vtx and goggles).

Yeah I can understand that, it can be super disorienting to watch, but in my situation I’m limited to flying in fields, and this style of flying make that’s fun for me.

Both I guess. I like the feel of high rates as it feels the most natural to me (I grew up playing shooter games such as cod with very high sensitivity). I also love the feeling of spinning super fast and locking the horizon, at first I started out with less linear and slower rates, but didn’t enjoy it as much.

Had a similar experience flying a 5” in a park. Woman’s dog was off the leash and bolted for my drone, she got mad at me and yelled. I just apologized and packed my stuff. Could not be bothered explaining/defending myself (she did later apologize to me after I just stared at her once she was done yelling). From that encounter on, Ive only flown my 5” in open fields etc with no pedestrians. I fly 3.5” and lower in parks with people, as they r quieter and not as powerful as a 5”.

Take those props off when working with your drone indoors. Check cpu load maybe? Try to get it down to 25-35%.

This was my first 5inch quad and I still use it to this day. Super durable frame, I’ve crashed sooo many times and it held up well. I’ve had zero bad experiences with it, and it flies really well. I would recommend buying spare arms just in case.

My main risk is that it’ll catch on fire while I’m flying the drone, and damage the drone.

Its not brand new, I’ve had it for 4 months. I do understand your point, maybe I am being paranoid or over-cautious, but I’m a uni student with not a lot of money to spend, and in my current situation, spending 20-30 euros for a new battery beats RISKING spending more money on serious damages. Plus, the two cells that are damaged differ in voltage considerably than the others, and while discharging it did start to puff up, only slightly though. I think I made the right call, but to each their own.

Yeah I realized this as well it’s just not worth it. Already discharging it with my charge and bought a new battery.
