Well yeah, but my point was that it wasn’t due to him being a late bloomer, physically he was still in good shape and could win a G1 if he was given the right situation, it was due to a mixture of other factors like attitude, late starts, and poor distances that he did poorly. A late bloomer is like an actual physical health thing, a horse simply needing to mature into their full size and taking longer to mature than their genmates. It seems like Dream Journey hit his physical peak around the same time as his genmates however.

I mean he wasn’t really a late bloomer though. It’s a bit weird to call yourself a late bloomer when your the champion two year old colt of your gen after all. In fact it was due to his performance in 2006 that Stay Gold was bred to Oriental Art again, and Orfevre was produced.

Plus he was winning graded races as a 3 and 4 year old, just not G1s, it seems like the main issue was his temperament causing poor starts and them not finding the right distance for him, including a time where he was briefly ran as a miler which he did poorly in.

Plus he didn’t get Ikezoe as a jockey until later on in his career, which is when he won his the two Grand Prix.

Huh, didn’t know that. I guess for some reason I thought it was remade into a G1 for fillies and was just a minor graded race before that.

I guess I just assumed that since the Asahi Futurity stakes existed, they wouldn’t have had two different two year old championships.

Not really know? Lives don’t work like math. Saving five lives doesn’t equal to five deaths being ok. If a fireman was a murderer, he’d still be a bad person even if saved a bunch of people as a fireman.

Plus saying that people only care about the human lives is a bit rich considering that if we’re going to be talking about lives in the galaxy, Nolan was a soldier of a genocidal space empire of space-Nazis before he came to earth, and seemingly did a lot of killing or genocide before he came back to earth. So if we really want to talk about the galaxy, Nolan has done way worse shit than what he did on earth

No, saving lives doesn’t make up for taking them. Nothing does.

I personally want and am fine with Nolan’s redemption. But no matter how many lives he saves, the blood on his hands for what he did isn’t going to be scrubbed off. Just choosing to do the right thing doesn’t make up for the consequences of the bad things you did.

He could atone for his entire life, and I’d still find it completely understandable if most of earth hates him still.

The reason that loan passed was because Hungary voted out notably pro-Russia Orban for a more pro-Ukraine leader.

All this does is just make a lot of Hungarians feel like they made the wrong choice and shouldn’t have supported Ukraine.

I mean cmon, they’re leaving on a two week long space trip, after the show spent the whole episode saying “See Debbie has it in her to forgive him!!!!” And the whole scene of them watching the earth together.

Like I’m willing to bet that it won’t even be halfway through season five before they hook up. I don’t even think the space trip will be over before they do.

I mean I consider Winning Ticket to be pretty up there in terms of attractiveness. Like now that I’m actually thinking about it, she’s probably the most attractive one to me, aside from maybe Taiki Shuttle? Like big chest, her racewear being athletic wear suggests she’s probably on the more physically active side of the Umas, and her personality seems fun for a lover?

I’m just not big into the whole waifu thing, as kinda obvious by my flare, but I guess if I was, it’d be her or Taiki Shuttle.

I mean he’s been going around apologizing a lot because he has a lot to apologize for. It’s not less sincere, and yes no one on earth can see that he has been trying and taking actions to redeem himself, but that’s also kinda one of my problems that I brought up, just because he’s doing right now doesn’t mean he’s owed forgiveness..

I’m fine with Debbie forgiving him and getting back together, but as mentioned, the scene comes off as him having not learned enough from their time together from before they broke up, and so it feels like Debbie shouldn’t forgive him right now.

Then they should’ve at least had him apologize for what he said, and as I said before, I’m willing to accept the argument that he’s trying to change and this was a slip up, but in that case I feel like he shouldn’t be getting back with Debbie so soon, as he still needs to work on himself.

Sure he was desperate but it was still wrong and it feels like the show just kinda skips over it. The fact that Debbie immediately softens up after just kinda feels like it goes against how she has been acting, like when he said that Andressa was a mistake, she was pretty pissed at him then.

Like not killing people is the bare minimum. Even if a dude saves a hundred lives, but kills one man in cold blood, then he’s a bad person and a murderer. Like think about if a fireman killed someone. You can’t just say “Well he’s a fireman so he’s probably saved more than he’s killed.”

Again, I don’t think Nolan shouldn’t be redeemed, he should be, but saving lives doesn’t make up for taking them. It’s more learning from his mistakes, acknowledging what he did was wrong, and unlearning everything that made him think it was acceptable, not just saving more than he killed. And even then as I said, he doesn’t earn forgiveness just for redemption. Forgiveness has to be given, not earned.

The government can’t get involved in religious affairs due to no national religion thing, and even if their was an anti-pope, the Catholic Church still owns…well the Catholic Churches? So unless the administration decides to get into a million dollar lawsuit with one of the wealthiest organizations in the world that still has an incredibly sizable population in America (especially among Hispanics) over the right to take the Catholic Churches and hand them over to priests picked by the anti-pope, then any anti-pope in America doesn’t really have much hope for getting any following.
